California's Economic Forecast is Dismal
Despite so-called progressives promising their policies will create a Soviet-style workers paradise, Californias leftist Democrats have turned the once Golden State into a sh*thole through decades of leftist policies penalizing and demonizing employers, businesses, property owners, innovators, entrepreneursand really, anyone who wants to work hard and get ahead. These hard working people are responding by fleeing liberal California for conservative red states.
The perception across America is that California is the state people are leaving. And that perception is accurate.
seems like a lost cause...
Too bad
ugh
The problem is these idiots are moving to Colorado. They haven’t learned a damn thing. Here, they vote for the same policies and are determined to turn Colorado into another of their sh!tholes.
Solutions? Anyone? Im tired of reading complaints without solutions.
What about fighting back? How?
I am surrounded by upper middle class LA liberals. They have sucked and regurgitated the oligarchy lefty themes. They have worshipped at the altar of diversity, voted for Obama because mocha skin, in awe of Harvey Weinstein at their restaurant, watched the right shows, taken the correct vacations, sent their kids to the right schools.
AND NOW THEY HEAR HELICOPTERS OVERHEAD NIGHTLY like in the Viet Nam war. The police. Every house has to have security gates etc. Under and beside the freeways they must drive through throngs of pooping filthy humans living in piles of junk.
Im starting to hear them want to leave. The only thing left for CA is a despot state with billionaires and slaves. Its almost there.
I am wondering if Montecito will be a microcosm. Montecito is full of wealthy people who were living something better than the good life. Perfect climate, gorgeous homes in a country rustic location. Everything at their fingertips and LA 90 minutes away. 20 of them are dead this week. Hundreds of mansions ruined. If they want out, now, and I bet they do, who is going to purchase those 2000 sq foot $3 million homes*? There needs to be some time for people to forget this deadly season. Lets watch and see what happens.
* that is the smallest and cheapest property you could find there before all this happened.
NH says the same about our MAssholes....
California to Hand Blacks with Criminal Records Money to Sell Marijuana
You would have to think this would be rock bottom. Taking MY hard earned tax dollars in the highest tax state in the entire country to "loan" it to lowlife drug dealers. I'm sure said lowlife are going to be good for the loan and will repay it pronto.
Easy peasy. We start by electing Republicans.
...and, no doubt, Idaho...

I grew up in MA but left to never return when I was 19. There are places I miss, and parts of the state that are breathtakingly beautiful.... nothing like rolling down the windows once you made it over the bridge and breathing in that moist salty air. you can take the girl out of MA...
I live on South Orange County.
Nowadays I only drive through Los Angeles on my way to somewhere else. Hard to believe I used to work in Downtown LA and enjoyed doing things there.
I do miss eating at Philippe’s and The Pantry though.
One of these days...
I first flew to CA in 1985... stayed with my mother’s friend in Pasadena. I was a kid but thought it was great. Went to Laguna beach, Catalina Island, amazing Mexican food in LA, drove up the Big Sur highway, went to San Francisco, ate at Fisherman’s warf, crossed the bridge saw the giant sequoias. California is geographically speaking a beautiful place, ruined by Godlessness and corruption and turned into a cesspool a la Sodom. Such a shame.
My dad used to take me to Phillippes when I was a kid. Each time I go there now, Im amazed that those tables are smaller than me. My early memories was that the wooden tables were way over my head!
Detroit is just Los Angeles without palm trees.
I’ve been saying that for years.
The Cape gets old after a while.
My long time buddy’s parents own a cottage on an incredible plot of beachfront land in Falmouth.
Spent almost every weekend of my youth there.
I’m sick of the Cape, i go to Maine now.
Cape Cod has become somewhat of a section 8 immigrant hellhole as well believe it or not.
Wintertime crime stories are pretty frequent.
The entire country is being ruined..
I’m sad to hear that, the Cape is where I grew up. It was a beautiful place, year round. Maine is of course lovely, but wow is the ocean cold up there:) I have fond memories of Boston too, Faneuil Hall and seeing The Nutcracker as performed by the Boston Ballet. Best of luck to you, I still have good friends who live in MA.
Three million dollars for a two thousand square foot house?
That's just obscene.
I used to love eating at The Pantry. Wonderful food, and always a line out the door. Los Angeles was full of great restaurants back in the 70s, and I was fortunate enough to experience many of them.
Alas, my California is long gone, which is why I moved to Texas a dozen years ago.
