It’s the biggest issue I had, and have, with candidate and President Trump. I *HATE* that style, completely, utterly.
I want an erudite, unemotional leader with an absolute reverence for facts and the English language.
But I’ll take ‘winning’, I’m getting used to it. He’s the President and seems to be kicking ass, so crying all the way to the bank (to deposit my tax cut)..
Oh...so you must have LOVED the traitor wee barry; the voice trained imbecile, with the smoooooooooooooooooooth voice.
Agree with you! Brash, etc. - not my style. But, it has obviously worked for him and others!
I was working with a cocky, no-excuse type guy from Alaska. He said something like he has worked all over the country - and the folks most like Alaskan’s are folks from New York City!
I’m not sure about that, as most folks I’ve worked with in Alaska are pretty laid back. But not this guy! So it might even be a regional thing in Alaska. But I suppose it might be “Hey - if I can survive and thrive in Alaska (or NYC) - I can be successful anywhere and I don’t need to take crap from anybody.”
Pres Trump has a great ability to communicate at all levels. His main concern is to get his message to the average Joe or Jane in a way so that every word can be understood.
The thumbs up used to annoy me. I’m over it. It works.
Maybe you're being sarcastic but I can't tell.
Such people do exist but they are not leaders. They conform to the status quo so as not to offend anyone. They'll just go along with the DC crowd to fit in.
Maybe you should have voted for Yeb Bush instead of Trump. He's a good, knowledgeable speaker with a polished way about him.
But he is not a leader. He's a crybaby. And he was the biggest p*ssy of the 16 that ran against Trump.
Trump is what my high school football coach called a hatchet man. "Go in there and knock a few heads and get some of the players on the other team thrown out of the game."
Trump is OUR hatchet man. He's the perfect man, for this impossible job, at this tipping point is our country's history.
We don't need another polished politician in the office again. We need someone who may be rough around the edges but who will get the job done.
I don't know of anyone else out there who could do what he's done and still be left standing for more.
But Ill take winning
That NY style makes me cringe at times but I could not be happier with this President.
Meh... everyone wants some boring unemotional leader who is polished and speaks like James Madison or Thomas Jefferson.
Those personalities are mostly pussies and get bowled over. Its time for a fighter with dome testosterone.
I served in the Marines with a lot of guys from NYC. He’s right, they do talk like that and it’s natural.
I even got to where I could tell what borough a speaker was from, and I’ve never set foot in NY, much less the city.
I still surprise folks from time to time here in Florida when I say, “What part of [Brooklyn/the Bronx/etc] are you from?”
Sometimes I’ll do it in a mock NYC accent...............
Ah, you want a Beta-Male who couldn't lead a column of ants to a picnic with a 5 lb. bag of sugar. If only Mitt Romney were honest!
Liberals would run right over the top of the leader you say you want and never look back, that type of person is generally polite to a fault.
At this point in time we really need Trump to stand up to the liberals.
So you prefer men to be neutered. I see...
