FBI Offered Anti-Trump Spy $50k if He Could Prove Russian Connection (he couldn't)

A report revealing that the FBI offered former MI6 spy Christopher Steele a cash payout last year to corroborate the since-debunked information in the infamous “Trump dossier” raises troubling questions about the agency’s integrity and commitment to truth.

Steele’s contact with the FBI specifically told him that if he “could get solid corroboration of his reports, the F.B.I. would pay him $50,000 for his efforts, according to two people familiar with the offer,” The New York Times reported in April. “Ultimately, he was not paid.”

Fast forward to Dec. 13 of this year, when the House Judiciary Committee questioned Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein about whether the agency offered to pay for the corroboration of a dossier that we now know is full of lies.

I remember Watergate.
This is bigger than Watergate.
Where are the Woodwards and Bernsteins of today?
Defitinetly not at the Washington Compost.

Sara Carter and a few others are the Woodwards and Bernsteins of today.

Sounds like the FBI has a few too many taxpayer $$$ in its coffers (not that a (R) Congress would know what a budget looks likes...or a CUT in the same).

Rather than paying the FBI billions of dollars to kiss the butts of white liberal elites and service them - - we should use the money ourselves to bribe foreign agents to ‘do the work piecemeal’ - - only pay them if they succeed.

Then we can hire other idiots to stand outside and yell ‘racists’ at city cops and traditional Americans... Then hire Russians to share the results of spying on private American citizens... and voilà - no need for the billions wasted on the FBI.

This is bigger than Watergate.

It is much bigger than Watergate but the media is trying to suppress the truth. If the media was on the side of truth, there would be a massive purging taking place in DC right now and many would be going to prison — including many in obama’s administration and possibly even obama.

For $50,000 MI6 couldn’t produce a couple of Russian hookers?

Yes, it is. The full story is being suppressed because its not acceptable to sully the reputation of the first AA POTUS and Female AG.

I am confused I thought the FBI investigated and discovered their own evidence? Why is the FBI offering tax payer dollars for someone else to do their job?

They covered up the whacking of a SCOTUS justice
and Scott Rich, and transfer of uranium,
missle guidance, and computer tech (with $$$$$$$)
to N. Korea and Iran.
And they micturated on the Congress, laughing
that they were above Congress.

.... so why are any getting into work?

There were also disgruntled RNC advisors like Pete Wilson hoping this would end Trump’s candidacy.

There’s not even any evidence Steel is connected to MI6. This is all complete fiction.

The entire thing is a fraud.
People should be going to jail over this.

Otherwise the deep state will continue to undermine Trump.

Maybe it was Obama who hired prostitutes to pee in a bed Trump once slept in. I mean, they had to get such a perverted idea from somewhere, right?

So the FBI KNEW the dossier was bogus.

Then (I’ll bet) used the bogus dossier to secure FISA warrants to wiretap Trump & Co.

Wow. Watergate was small potatoes.

How about he’s kept in a cage at Quantico and used as a training aid?

There’s not even any evidence Steel is connected to MI6. This is all complete fiction.

So sue the UK Telegraph and other major Brit newspapers for publishing the connection.
