Sen. John Barrasso: DACA bill, immigration reform on the docket for early next year
The Washington Times ^ | 12/20/17 | Sally Persons

Sen. John Barrasso said Wednesday there will be plenty of time to tackle immigration reform, including a new policy for children brought to the U.S. illegally, early in 2018.

“The deadline that President Trump has set is actually March and so there’s time to do that,” Mr. Barrasso, Wyoming Republican, said on Fox News. “There are discussions. But for me, I’m going to focus on border security, enforcement and ending chain migration.”

Mr. Trump announced the end of DACA — an Obama-era policy that allowed people brought to the U.S. illegally as children to stay — and asked Congress to draft a permanent solution. The legality of DACA has been debated by Republicans since it was an immigration policy created by the executive branch rather than by Congress.

Democrats had hoped to tie DACA into the spending bill to fund the government this year, but Republicans say a separate immigration bill is currently being worked on with the White House and will be addressed early next year.

I’ll agree to let them to stay in exchange for wall funding and nothing less. They can have a path to citizenship once the full wall has been completed and any holdups in construction mean they get deported.

The recent increase in illegal crossings is in response to “addressing DACA”

The DACA bill must be strictly limited to those already enrolled and includes wall funding, mandatory e-verify for employment and benefits, end of anchor babies and chain migration, and increased funding for removals, including the parents who brought them here.

The GOP could have sued in 2012 and there would be no DACA.
But they want amnesty, too.
The states sued and stopped DAPA, the second illegal amnesty for illegal aliens by the illegal President.

No to DACAs ever!

Have you ever gotten an up close and uncomfortable view of those claiming to be DACA recipients?

They demand this and that and flatly state that their “families get to stay period!”

They came here under false pretenses and as all do all other invaders, want to plunder our nations wealth!

Re: “But for me, I’m going to focus on border security, enforcement and ending chain migration.”

Is that the new poll tested one liner that will help Republican Senators escape political responsibility for Trump’s DACA Amnesty?

Remember when candidate Trump used to fire up the crowds with promises of a massive illegal alien amnesty?

Trump: What are we going build?

Crowd: A nation-wide California!

Trump: Who’s going to pay for it?

Crowd: Our children!

Those were good times.

DACA is an Un-Constitutional program of “prosecutorial discretion” set up illegally by the Obama administration

We owe the DACA registrants NOTHING

They are not “us” simply because their illegal alien parents insist it should be true

We will not tolerate their votes, their hostility to us, their violence (they came here by violence or the threat of it) or their insistence they they have a right to occupy our country.

Trump was elected to build the Wall and end the era of mass immigration by those hostile to us. NO DEALS.

1. Deport all illegals
2. Nullify all birthright citizenship where the parents were here illegally.
3. 40 year moratorium on ALL immigration. This is to allow for full assimilation of the millions we have already let in.

4. Build the wall

5. impose criminal penalties on employers who knowingly hire illegals.

I disagree. Allow them some type of permanent status short of citizenship. This is the penalty for breaking our immigration laws. And give them this only after we have gotten the enforcement plus the wall plus ending chain migration.

What we’ll get are promises of a “high tech smart border”, “increased Border Patrol training” and “tough vetting”.

What will actually be delivered is a massive open-ended amnesty program carried out, like all such programs, by federal contractors aided by hispanic and left wing NGOs.

The end result will be a significant acceleration in the California-ing of our homeland, with FL and TX flipping permanently blue a few years ahead of schedule.

Re: “BOHICA, America. Brought to you by Ivanka and Open Borders advocate General Kelly.”

Wrong!

Brought to you by Donald Trump, who hired Ivanka and General Kelly, and gave each of them an office in the West Wing.

By the way, Trump's new Secretary of Homeland Security also supports DACA Amnesty.

Stupid republican politicians, wake up! Where in the name of hell do you get the idea that you can cram US citizenship on children that are already citizens of another country?

Children born to Mexican parents are automatically Mexican citizens no matter where they are born.
