At least four senators are urging Al Franken to reconsider resigning, including two who issued statements calling for the resignation two weeks ago and said they now feel remorse over what they feel was a rush to judgment.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who urged Franken not to step down to begin with at least not before he went through an Ethics Committee investigation said the Minnesota senator was railroaded by fellow Democrats.

Has he resigned? Last I heard he was thinking about it sometime in the coming weeks.
This was the endgame all along.
Bonus—Any criticism of Trump will ring rather hollow.
Just the leaders we need. Ones which cannot lead themselves.
Really? Actually probably so and most certainly about Roy Moore, the same.
He did not resign.
Democrats always lie (like RINOs)
Hey Al, you are not the Ross Perot campaign.
flip-flopper = loser fraken
As despicable as Franken is, I don’t want to see him go. What if he was replaced by a lovable, personable (looking and acting as I don’t think they can be in real life)Democrat? Next election cycle, it would take a truly incompetent Republican to lose against Franken. Yes, some Republicans can be tone-deaf and lose even without the 100 mph media headwind.
“At least four senators are urging Al Franken to reconsider resigning ...”
Hah!
Any of them republicans I wonder?
So how much Peckerwood cash did Al dole out to get these pols to say what they did?
BACKSTORY Ambitious Franken raised $5 million from Peckerwood (these are his entertainment buddies, after all).
He then promptly distributed it among Democrats (bribes to back his political ambitions).
So there’s a lot of cash-rich Democrats beholden to Peckerwood and the weinstein clones.
Yeah, keep Franken. Bring back Weiner.
[But ... we don’t want republican politicians saying that.]
Great. Let him get voted out.
The whole premise of American government is the processes which ensure that judgement is fair, equal, unrushed, and out in the open, are guaranteed by our elective representation and the constitution. Any politician who rushes to judge should be tarred and feathered by his constituents.
CORRECTION Oops....Al raised an enormous $25 million from Peckerwood.....and there’s a lot more where that came from
Wow, never saw this coming. </s>
Oh yes, Al Gore and his ‘Seventh Chakra’.
And never forget Clinton and Pedophile Island. What a bunch of creeps.
yeahh, I think Frankenstein should drag this out as long as possible, rofl
