I have all the novels in paperback and they kick major rump.
Perhaps I’ll download the Enemies Novel for tablet on plane ride. Last poor sap I sat next to kept glancing aghast at my literature “Between the Lines of Drift”. Might as well continue the streak of rubber marks left in the pants.

Yeah, I was confused too. It's not $9.99/annual. It's $9.99/MONTH for "Kindle Unlimited" - which will allow you access to what they call "free books" in the sense that you don't have to pay a fee for a book
in addition to the subscription fee you pay for getting access to these books ... ie $120/yr.
OTOH, I see that my Amazon Prime acct has a feature called "Prime Reads" that has a *selection* of free books (incl one each Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings, two John Grisham kid's books, various SciFi & Murder Mysteries, ...), and free magazines (mostly women's mags, but also Natl Geo, Readers Digest, a few gun mags, etc.)

I use BookBub (no fee)-————Cheap and free books-———most are not my taste but I’ve found many very good ones.
I link to Amazon through BookBub——and make the purchase there. (Some are limited offers.}

That photo sure reminds me of where I was born and reared in the Florida Panhandle. I guess it could be the Caribbean too.

The free Kindle apps for Windows and Mac can be downloaded here:

I don't think that the free Matt Bracken Kindle downloads described in this thread require Kindle Unlimited. It looks like the Kindle Unlimited deal for these books is already available, while the free downloads described in this thread will only be available in the near future for specific books on specific days.

I've read them all and found Red Cliffs of Zerhoun especially enthralling.
To: Travis McGee
I already have them all. Any chance any of them getting turned into a film version?

Depriving me of my free time like that.

Thanks Matt.
I hope I am in the same barracks with you in the camps (not that either of us would be taken alive). The stories you would tell around the coffee can fire would be extraordinary.
