Not this year.

I am a third generation Giants fan, and watching football with my dad was something I always looked forward to.

After his death the Sunday Giants game was one place I always felt reconnected to him.

But he would be irate at them for this BS kneeling stuff, and so am I.

As much as it breaks my heart and makes me miss my father even more (gone 4 years) I will not be watching until the NFL gets its players under control.

The Giants also suck BAD this year so its made it less difficult to boycott it.

No more nfl for me. Only thing I will pay attention to for now on is news about their decline and failure. It was a ritual for me for most of my life but now on Sunday while I do other things I feel good.

Ive watched the NFL morph into a disgusting display of loathing for this Great Country.

Ive watched the NFL give a finger to those who protect our freedoms at home and abroad.

Ive watched the NFL double and triple down on defending fools that destroy their own brand.

Do I watch the games?
Not only NO
BUT HELL NO!

should be

1) It is wrong to exploit people of color

Not since the NFL was diagnosed with Colin Cancer and elected not to treat it.

AAAAAAA-men. Donated all my stupid horsehead tees to charity. Hope to unload the StupidBowl 50 jersey soon. Watched professional international rugby every weekend since that un-freakin-grateful jerk took his first knee.

Nope, but not because of the anthem “protests”. Used to be a devoted fan but stopped watching a few years ago because it had become a complete bore. Penalties every other play, a video review every third, and a commercial during every change of possession are mind numbing. And I just decided it was stupid to be interested in something so dull.

Haven’t watch a full-game in like 4 years. Not trying to start a debate about who is Super Bowl bound, but this year looks like the Eagles might represent the NFC — and I could care less.

No, but I have never watched any sport on TV. I’ve played many sports but since I was a kid I’ve been telling everybody it’s not a sport and it’s not a game, it’s a business. I couldn’t get into watching any business.

No. I figure if, at this point you are still watching the NFL then you’re down with the cause.

The NFL Players Association website makes it easy to leave a message. I left the below thought, and I think even the most obtuse could figure out I didn’t watch a Thanksgiving game.

“When America’s fallen come from the Middle East they arrive at Dover Air Force Base in caskets covered with a star-spangled banner. When they are buried the flag is removed, elegantly folded, and given to a spouse, child, sibling, or parent.

You stand for the National Anthem. You kneel to pray for the country. Doing otherwise identifies you as feckless, arrogant, self-absorbed. Whatever cause or grievance you think you have becomes squalid and frivolous.

I remember a time when success was defined in terms of marriage, raising kids, career, etc. Now there is an alternative definition. Success means convincing others to adjust their behavior for the emotional damage people have decided to inflict upon themselves because of some apparent slight.

Success is then defined as forcing others into codependent relationships, instead of joining those who move through and around the same issues to achieve a traditional definition of success. Your association has decided to take its place to support victory for this type of mutilated relationship.”
