The holidays can be a confusing time for some people. Especially if you’re “woke” and you’ve spend years reading articles about how you should annoy your relatives with your inane opinions about ObamaCare, global warming or Donald Trump. We have libs in the fam. We get along pretty well as we all take the “agree to disagree” stance. Thank goodness. Now, some of them who I don’t break bread with are the obnoxious ones. I hardy ever see them. They only come ‘out at night’, so-to-speak’. Must me pretty lonely for them.

Ya know how we just ensured peace and harmony and the dinner table tonight? We all open carried. Political dogma is the last thing on your mind when you’re swapping gun tips.
Our oven doesn’t even kick in until about 200 and goes over 500. What kind of oven has a 2 decimal place setting, out of kitchen-gadget curiousity?
We had dinner with some good friends today and we were talking about the concert the kids gave at our state capitol when they were in junior high school. Our hostess mentioned she saw Bill Clinton drive by in a motorcade in Sacramento once. I asked if Monica was along with Bill and she said she didn’t see her. I said “Of course you couldn’t see her...her head was down.”
Zing! Lots of groans and guffaws!
They are huge Dems and Clinton fans. That one-liner put an end to all political conversation for the rest of the evening.
