Jimmy Carter is the oldest of all living ex-presidents at 93, but he is still in tune with national politics. He made his views about some of the latest pressing national issues very clear in a recent interview with New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd.
On Russia meddling in the election
Dowd asked Carter: “Did the Russians purloin the election from Hillary?”
Carter said: “Rosie and I have a difference of opinion on that.” Rosie is Carter’s wife.
“I don’t think there’s any evidence that what the Russians did changed enough votes, or any votes,” Carter followed up.....

What does it tell you that the first ex-POTUS to malign the USA from beyond water’s edge can’t even parrot the democrat party line?
That line is blurred into nothingness (as we all knew).

Carter and his wife: “We voted for Sanders.” Not surprisingly, when you consider his pandering to communist regimes all over the world.

Maybe Jimmah really doesn’t want to go down in history as the second worst president ever. We obviously know who the worst president is.

Maybe President Trump can offer Carter a posting as a test pilot for one of Kim’s missiles. I understand those things often go off course.
Carter is prostituting his own past politics in order to try to win a position from Trump as a special ambassador to North Korea.
Carter just wants to try to save his own paltry legacy that includes the disastrous agreement with North Korea he negotiated without Clinton’s wishes and that Clinton was forced to either sign or disavow it - and Clinton signed it.
Careful Trump, Carter just wants to put you in the same position he put Clinton. He’ll make a bad deal - because that is all North Korea will give him, and then let you get charged with being for war if you don’t go along with it.
Carter’s Party did him in.
Trump isn’t going to make that mistake.
