The US governments aggressive foreign policy and hostile attitude toward other nations has created an alarming number of lost allies and gained enemies in a very short amount of time. United States relations with Russia, China, Iran, and especially North Korea, are sinking to lows that could easily foster a war. If the US elites have any chance of stopping China and the rest of the east from gaining world supremacy, they need as many allies as they can get. Unfortunately for the US hegemony, another strategic ally may be ending their alliance with the US.
Ever since the US invaded Iraq in 2003, the two countries have been closely linked. After the US toppled Saddams government and installed their own puppet regime, Iraq has been a close ally in helping the US maintain world dominance. The US has supplied the country with billions of dollars so that they could rebuild their infrastructure and military. In return, Iraq has let the US military occupy their land, and more importantly, they continued to sell their oil in US dollars.

All you know or have to know about this article is that they referred to the US elites as the ones that are only able to stop this madness.
The USA should be and could be totally self sufficient in everything but fuel and tropical fruit. We only have “crucial” allies because we contrive them.
snip
After all, the US invaded their country for economic reasons just 14 years ago.
Both untrue statements. The article is far out there. Total nonsense.
The U.S. foolishly refused to take payment in Iraqi oil.
The Democrats in Congress forbid U.S. companies from even competing for contracts in Iraq.
I think we could also manage to handle fuel and fruit, if we had to.
They need us a lot more than we need them.
IWB is fake-news clickbait.
You keep posting nonsense from this ridiculous blog site
Have you no shame?
We don’t need Arab allies.
IWB needs to go the way of Debka and ZeroHedge.
Not one nation named has been considered an ally.
You should stop posting this crap, this is a waste of bandwith.
The ‘elites’ got us into this mess... they’re the last people we should turn to...
The piece you posted is a pack of lies. None of the countries he mentions in his opening paragraph have EVER been allies of the US. (The Republic of Iran was an ally under the Shah, The USSR and the Republic of China were during WWII but not the Islamic Republic of Iran, The Russian Federation or the People's Republic of China have never been.) He also omits Iran's involvement in shaping current US/Iraqi relations, which is to say the Iranians have bought themselves a government.
Of course, the obvious path is to revert to the Obama Doctrine of leading from behind.
Total BS.
“Invaded” Iraq?
Nope.
Liberated Iraq.
There have been a bunch of threads posted on here saying that we have many years of oil in the ground.
We could do without the tropical fruit if it came down to it.
Have you no shame?"
The OP of this thread posts from IWB because he has a vested interest in it.
He's what you might call their "Business Agent."
Or you might just call him a Blog Pimp.
Pretty much your choice.
