At Oxford, where the motto is, The Lord is my Light.
Members of the Christian Union (CU) were banned from attending a freshman fair at the University of Oxford for fears that incoming students might face potential harm and feel unwelcome. According to Breitbart London, the university wanted to keep the freshers fair a secular space after concerns were raised by student welfare representatives. This was a strange turn of events for an institue established under Christianity.
An internal e-mail explained the universitys reasoning:
"We recognise the wonderful advantages in having CU representatives at the Freshers Fair, but are concerned that there is potential for harm to freshers who are already struggling to feel welcome in Oxford."
"Christianitys influence on many marginalised communities has been damaging in its methods of conversion and rules of practice, and is still used in many places as an excuse for homophobia and certain forms of neo-colonialism."
However, a multi-faith space was set up at the fair, only no member of a religious society was allowed to attend or speak, according to the report.
This infuriated the CU members who felt their free speech and religious freedoms were being jeopardized. Meanwhile, the university states that the Christian group agreed to the demands. CU said that is a misleading statement.

Sheer insanity.
The problem with Christianity is that it is not Christianity . . . it is christendom which is a melting pot of every shade and hue of religious heresy based on fellowship rather than biblical doctrine.
There is only one form of Christianity that is acceptable to God and that is the one based on the pure Word of God teaching biblical salvation through grace rather than human efforts - and total separation from the world . . . “Come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord.”
True, the world hates Christians . . . but they love the ecumenical movement.
“We recognise the wonderful advantages”
BS. You just spouted off a bunch of reasons Christianity or Christians is so terrible.
Not one other group (besides whites) would they spout off how many bad things they’ve done.
Sorry, but this just burns my buns.
Imagine anyone having the temerity to say this regarding Islam:
“Christianitys influence on many marginalised communities has been damaging in its methods of conversion and rules of practice, and is still used in many places as an excuse for homophobia and certain forms of neo-colonialism.”
Why would these so easily offended snowflakes choose to attend a Christian school?
Christians should stop attending Oxford. Baptists should stop attending Baylor. Catholics should stop attending Noter Dame, etc. Let them all with on the vine.
Satan will gladly welcome them to Hell.
At Oxford, where the motto has become, Allah is my Light.
Will they now disown the Oxford version of the King James Bible?
Meanwhile, children of the Religion of Peace are worshipped, and given priority over Christians.
And some can’t see that the goal of the left is to eliminate Christianity.
John 15:18-19
If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.
Just what I was thinking-do they think Islam is exactly welcoming? No ones worried that they might make the incoming freshmen feel unwelcome by beheading them?
That would be the pure Word of God which came from England.
I’ve been watching some old British movies the last few nights so I will remember the proud England that once was, but is no more.
Did the Christians feel welcome?
What in the GD effing eff is going on in these colleges?
I know libtards only hire other libtards, until a place is saturated with them, but this is ridiculous.
I used to wonder how Hitler got people to run the SS and kill people for him... and now I can easily see it.
Idiots now running once revered institutions, founded by their betters.
As in Powell and Pressburger era? I still vividly remember A CANTERBURY TALE and BLACK NARCISSUS.
