If you have been wanting to purchase a Slidefire, Bumpfire or similarly related stock because of recent events in the US you may have tried searching online. One of the most popular sites where people buy, sell and research pricing for products related to the firearms industry is Gunbroker.com among others. If you have been finding it difficult to find much, if any at all on Gunbroker, there is a reason why.
Many users who were attempting to sell their Slidefire stocks received a message worded as such today around roughly 6:00 PM Central Standard Time:
Dear Gunbroker User,
The Management of Gunbroker.com has made the decision to no longer allow listings of Bump/Slide Fire stocks or similar items on the site. All existing listings have been removed without winning bidders. Please do not relist these items.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
Thank you,
The Management of Gunbroker.com
This is quite the statement Gunbroker is making by doing this. One individual who was selling his/her rifle on Gunbroker and received that exact message stated:
Well this sucks my AR Bumpfire rifle was up to $960 then this happened
To protect the privacy of the individual that this happened to, he/she will not be named. Their sentiments are very understandable considering no notice was given to Gunbroker users.
This is not a lone individual that has been affected either. If you jump onto Gunbrokers own forum and start digging into Slidefire discussions people are talking about the newly developing ban on Slidefires.
It will certainly be interesting to see if this is a decision that Gunbroker continues to uphold or if their position changes in this now very tumultuous firearm environment.
Also: Heard from a friend that slidefire/bumpfire stocks are up from about $99 to almost $1000 in some cases.
BTW: Bump Fire Systems - http://www.bumpfiresystems.com/
Per their site: "Due to extremely high demands, we have temporarily stopped taking orders to better ensure customer service."
Also from http://www.slidefire.com/ - “We have decided to temporarily suspend taking new orders in order to provide the best service with those already placed.”
I just want one to tweak the elites, who say I shouldn't have one. Kinda how I got into AR-15's, and I really enjoy those now :-)
Go on Armslist. There were three or four of them yesterday.
If you need to blow a bunch of ammo for no reason at all just to make it sound cool, you can do the same thing with rubber bands or bungee cords or someone with a beer belly as in “Hey, hold m’beer and watch this!”
I get better results off of Armslist. Probably sell five to one what I do on Gunbroker.
Now that I know they’re a bunch of p**sies I might stop altogether.
Isn’t that just like liberal gun grabbers - Threatening to ban lawful firearms and parts, making everyone scramble for a dwindling supply, and causing us to drive up prices.
Thanks you Chuckie Schumer, Bloomberg, McAuliffe and the rest of the rest of the progressive, police state gun grabbers.
If they say we can’t have one - That just means we really, really need one. LOL!
I’ve got to remember that line about the stocks selling like “cornbread at a chili fest.”
You should see the ol trigger finger twitch after my 4th cup of coffee. Who needs bump fire stocks?

Staple’s and Office Max must stop the sales of all rubber bands!
That’s it. The boycott of Gunbroker.com is on.
I’m switching to Armslist.com henceforth.
The rubber band technique works but it is a technique. Techniques require a certain amount of practice to become proficient.
Slide Fires are pretty much good out of the box.
Still, I will never bow to political currents.
Sounds like they are trying to line up with the NRA. Sounds like the NRA is going to throw slidefire/bump fire under the bus.
I'm just glad that the guy spent all his money on tricked out AR's and didn't think to buy a Barrett M82. That and a few rounds of tracer into the jet fuel tanks across the street from the venue would have done a lot more damage.
Yep. I’m not a spray and pray guy either. I don’t plan on getting a slidefire/bumpfire, but as long as they keep them out of the hands of democrats I feel pretty safe from the mass murderers.
Yeah, I’ve been keeping an eye on those sites. Nice of them to jack up the price before removing them all together.
Franklin Armory’s BFS went up by about $100, and they’re still available.

.......for now.
there’s no reason in the world for GB to do such a thing,
it is ridiculous and a disservice to their customers
and sellers alike
GB-— get real!
Growing up I used my older brother’s Ithaca single round .22 rifle. Had the lever action - but that only opened it up so to eject, and then load another round in by hand.
My buddies all had semi-autos. Even on the fast shots I was still better than them. As I recall they shot pretty quickly just with their fingers.
