A 12-year-old making an incredible archery shot on a deer is quite a feat in itself. Now how about that same shot but arrowing two deer with a single shot?
This incredible shot was caught on camera as proof. When Dan Cooley was on his first bow hunt at the age of 12 he made a remarkable shot that brought down two deer with only one arrow.
Amazing shot Dan, and we hope you enjoy a long life with many hunts ahead. You are well on your way to being a master hunter. See the 2 deer in one bowhunting shot video here.
Dam! typo not supposed to have the “a” in the title.
Sure...but what kind of pants was he wearing?
Hunting over bait. Is that legit? Inquiring minds want to know.
Just for discussion sake, it’s often not permitted to harvest more than one deer at a time. Is it considered an ethical shot to fire on a deer with another directly behind it?
Some states you can use bait, some states you can’t. Even where you can’t use bait you can plant a food crop as we call it to attract the deer.
Hope he had two tags
Well if they’re in your garden gnawing on your rutabagas, I say kill them all.
And let Bambi sort them out.
Sadly, in some states, it is still legal.
Cal sportsman, always lacking in ethics.
Big Boy pants.
Tags or no tags, this kid won.
We don't hunt over bait.
We are well aware of what is beyond your target.
We try to put down immediately any wounded animals.
Aren’t those does?
This was common back in the mid 60s to 70s when I was growing up in Ohio.... Hunting season is ON!
It’s illegal to harvest more than what you’re licensed for and if you don’t know your target or what’s behind it, you shouldn’t be hunting. Especially with a rifle. I know arrows can pass through cleanly too.
Agreed.
