Some have said that fans will eventually come back.

Some will, but what if we see a long term drop of 10 or 15% in ratings?? That would have a huge financial impact.

And we will have to wait and see, how many season ticket holders decide not to renew next year. If 10% or more fail to renew, that too will leave a mark.

What about those skybox rentals?? How many corporate and wealthy people who rent those will vote no for next year?

Yes, I would think next year will be worse unless they come out with a policy to respect the anthem. A lot of those seats are occupied by people who already bought their tickets over the summer and can't get a refund. Next year they'll have to deeply discount them to sell them, cutting into their revenues.
