I thought I read that Pluto had a very thin atmosphere that was gaseous, then it would freeze in cycle. Whether that is due to planetary rotation or orbital distance, I do not remember which one.

This is not new news.
I have reports going back more than a decade, reporting on scientific data that says that many other planets in our solar system are demonstrating conditions reflecting some manner of “higher energy level” in one or more spectrum of energy that our earth bound systems, and solar system explorer vessels, can detect.
The main driver of the energy state of the solar system is the sun, and it is not merely in the reflection of “light” but involves many other “energetic” outputs. For the entire solar system, in terms of its planets, to all be reflecting energy states suggesting higher levels of energy, it requires that the sun and its energy cycles be considered a major component of the solar system wide changes. That would have to include the earth.
