Hey, what if the NFL had a game and all the players stood for the national anthem? I didn’t watch, but apparently that’s what happened on Thursday night, as the backlash from fans to all the idiotic kneeling nonsense has created a sudden wave of patriotic panic, er, fervor among NFL players and executives.
Sorry guys, but it’s really just too late. You’ve allowed your social justice warrior players to dismiss about 20% of your fan base over the past two seasons, and most of them just aren’t coming back. Your lame explanations for your unpatriotic actions fell on deaf ears for one simple reason: The blue collar, middle class guys and gals who make up the biggest part of your fan base are becoming increasingly “woke”, as all the kids and SJWs like to put it, thanks mainly to the guy they put in the White House. In other words, you’ve been unmasked by Donald Trump.
That public woke-ness means that the standard lines of BS propaganda aren’t going to work on your fans like they used to, and it will probably take you the rest of this season and maybe longer to figure that out.
Speaking of standard lines of BS not working on the average American, The Washington Post reports on a new study conducted by professors at Cal-Berkeley and Stanford that reveals what anyone who really watched Donald Trump’s campaign flogging of Hillary Clinton and her billion dollar ad machine already knows: that “Advertising and campaign contacts have almost no measurable persuasive impact, at least in general elections.” Go figure.

Ineffectual advertising will hit more areas too. For people that may watch TV with ads, how many don’t dive into their phone, tablet, or laptop rather than watch the commercials. And how many miss vast segments of the network shows because they are so involved. Hopefully, the NFL will starve to death.

The uber-liberal Washington Post exhibits a new academic study showing that candidate Hillary Clinton's billion dollar ad machine, and years-long burnishing of her campaign credentials......especially as Secy of State sucking up to foreign powers......have almost no measurable persuasive impact, at least in general elections.
The nefarious Clinton Family Foundation had bought off everything in sight.....they figured she was a shoo-in.
The Clinton arrogance was breathtaking.
They campaigned like they were sitting on top of the world. They did outrageous things in full view of the electorate.
Smarty-pants Hillary and Bill figured those "stupid deplorables" couldn't figure it out.
These people are covering themselves with s^%t...for nothing.
You couldn’t PAY me to make SUCH an a*& out of myself over something as basic and clear as allegiance to MY COUNTRY.
Bottom line: If you so disagree with your country and its government... (including the 50% PLUS Americans who voted FOR it) then you shouldn’t even be here. That’s part of the greatness of the US. If you don’t like it... no one stands in your way preventing you from leaving.
Go find a new home with the abundance of material comforts, security, opportunity and everything that goes with that in the US... if you can!
Let’s SEE if your puny sense of self-worth, stunted character and shameless self-aggrandizing conduct will be tolerated or even supported anywhere ELSE, without real consequences for you and your family.
Foreign jails are crammed with people who challenge their leaders either in word or deed. None of them got even the pretense of due process but sit there, being punished for their so called offenses, sweating out their sentences for WHO KNOWS how long!
YOU on the other hand, follow treasonous, bone-head leaders who shoot off their mouths at everything which isn’t totally consistent with THEIR view, rather than celebrate your great good luck of being in a country where, you (with NO real education to speak of) can PLAY a game, produce NOTHING of value, contribute NOTHING to society ….yet receive MILLIONS for doing it....!
