Seems like there would be a safer way to hitch a ride...

How exactly do you catch a man that is clinging to a speeding train?

Especially if the train hit some rainy weather.

As teens, my older brother and his friends would jump on freight trains. He told me he and a friend once wound up in Pittsburgh (from NY City area). Had to hitchhike home.

Needless to say, he butted heads with my parents more than a few times....

These idiots are begging to be a fantastic 1 time hit on those websites showing grisly deaths such as documentingreality.com, and we can thank social media such as Facebook to thank for spawning a crop of Darwin Awards candidates.

"And seeing that he only got a disappointing 100,000 views on YouTube in the past 7 days for his original stunt, he then decided that jumping In Front of the oncoming train to grab on to the windscreen should give him at least 10,000,000 hits".

He was later proved to be indeed a big hit, so much so that they are still scraping off pieces of him off the glass and bits of him were also left scattered over 5 miles in the countryside...

I was in Chatsworth park (San Fernando valley in Calif) when a train came thru a tunnel and was going into another tunnel several hundred yards away when I saw a guy pop his head up from a open freight wagon type car then duck back down before entering the tunnel. The tunnel is about a mile long.
