So according to this judge they can't withhold the funds. Says nothing about the time frame on actually distributing the funds. Make it the lowest priority of everything the DOJ does. That would take the paperwork about 2 years to get through.

This may not be ALL bad - this suggests to me that no fed money could be withheld for ANY failure to comply... Dept education? No strings attached. EPA money? No more withholding $ for failure to comply. This could end the whole ‘carrot&stick approach to everything, ultimately reducing the need for most bureaucracy and taxes! I still think the best route is to arrest and prosecute those who run the sanctuary cities and break the federal immigration laws on a regular basis. When an illegal is released despite an ICE request to hold them, and commits a crime/murder, charge those who made the decision as accomplices.
