Trump's legislative affairs director has given up all leverage by telling the press that the White House is not demanding wall funding for Amnesty for DACA recipients, saying the administration is most interested in getting border security and that Trump believes a barrier is important to that equation of border security.
Whether or not that is part of a DACA equation or whether or not thats another legislative vehicle I dont want us to bind ourselves into a construct that makes reaching a conclusion on DACA impossible, Short said during a breakfast.

Meanwhile, Schumer and Pelosi are cheering the White House surrender. They can already see Trump and the Republicans abandoning the wall and giving into amnesty with no crackdown on illegal aliens or real increased border security.
"That's a very, very good thing and good progress," Schumer said. "I've told him (Trump) over and over again. At one point he said, 'go easy on the wall.' I said no."
"Look, I made it so, so clear to the president that there's not going to be a wall in the appropriations process or in others," Schumer added.
Weve been very clear: There is no wall in our DACA future. Its just not going to happen, Pelosi said in a small roundtable with reporters, recounting her conversations with Trump. I think its immoral, I think its expensive and ineffective. And so were not going to that place.
You pass it, Ill sign it, I want some border stuff. Thats what he said, Pelosi recounted. We always want border stuff, so thats not a problem. Especially with all the technologies.
I don’t know this source or this author so I will reserve judgement.
If you are in favor of returning minors back to their country of origin, especially minors that have been in this country since an early age and no longer have a real life connection to that country...you are in a very, very small minority.
There is no way you take a kid that was brought here at kindergarten age and now send them back at 15-years-old. That idea will not fly. Politically it won’t happen and it is such an absurd suggestion. Trying to put a condition on it is met with sorry, you lose, I don’t need to come to the table on this one.
“”That’s a very, very good thing and good progress,” Schumer said. “I’ve told him (Trump) over and over again. At one point he said, ‘go easy on the wall.’ I said no.””
He acts like he is in the majority party. Oh wait, he pretty much is. Add up the Democrats and the RINOs and they have the majority.
No?
Why not? And if you think you are going to KEEP your guns by allowing these parasites to remain here,, you are sadly mistaken.
The overwhelming number of them are left-wing libs, will vote Democrat, and take away your guns - and nearly everything else you have worked for.
They have helped take away your healthcare also.
“...no longer have a real life connection to that country...”
You obviously have never met any of them. Just like all the other children of the legals, they don’t speak English at home. They celebrate their home countries holidays. They were only here to take advantage of us. They don’t want to be Americans.
You are living a delusion given to you by the liberals.
It does seem that the press has become an unknowing tool for the President to shovel the work of the country back upon the shoulders of those we have elected to do such work.
Imagine that!
The betrayal is in both republican houses. There lies the betrayal.
Very confused article. Putting meaning on half sentences out of context and useless
Deport them all. It’s time to look after our own!
Right now all the pieces, are moving around so quickly that I agree with you. President Trump is in charge and, so far, when he’s left to do his own thing he’s done a great job representing those of us who supported him. There are also several formulas for making this a win. Right now we need to send the Republicans in Congress and President Trump a strong message by making Roy Moore the AL Senate nominee. Just remember the terrific impact defeating Cantor had on the immigration debate; a Moore victory is likely to do the same.
Bull crap
If Trump Keeps the freeloaders
Some / many Conservatives or Independents who voted for Trump will feel betrayed and sit out. And not one Liberal like yourself will change their vote to him or even tone down the hate a little bit.
If Trump sends them home
Not one Conservative or Independent who voted for Trump will change their vote to a Democrat. Liberals aren’t voting for him anyhow, so it doesn’t matter what they think.
Brilliant. Just brilliant.
Leave it up to the parents, not the government.
The parents came here illegally, and the parents MUST go home. If the parents abandon their kids here, we’ll take care of them, and we won’t kidnap them and keep them against the will of the parents. Otherwise, the parents should take their children with home with them.
Trump HAS to get something significant on immigration in return for amnesty of the DACA illegals.
I would grudgingly settle for funding for the Wall.
I would MUCH prefer the complete revocation of Birthright Citizenship for those with no connection to this country (other than first breathing air here, when neither Mom or Dad is a citizen or permanent legal resident), under the 14th Amendment.
THE WHOLE POINT has to be that amnesties CANNOT be rewarded, and illegal behavior CANNOT be rewarded. It must be STOPPED, with concrete actions that cannot be easily taken down or revoked.
Pres. Trump IS PRESIDENT.
He COULD, as promised, have
forced ObamaCARE on the RINOs and DNC.
He COULD, as promised, have forced
other changes that he promised.
He COULD have removed the corrupt AGs, like Clinton,
and continued to remove the Obama-plants ... but
to his own danger, did not.
Guess you've never seen how they react when they've been stopped by cops, or caught doing something illegal, then it's "Yo no hablo inglés."
If they are under 15 years old, who do they live with???
If they were brought to this country illegally by their parents and are now living with those parents, then the parents are also illegally here...
Send them ALL back....They can stay together from where they came....
I would say you are the one that has not met them. Parents of kids I know complain their kids want to be American. Some forget Spanish, understand it only at a remedial level.
Must be who you know or don't know I guess. That just has not been what I have seen.
Anyhow, tell Congress to do their job and make a decision either way.
