The Reactions To Brock Osweiler Getting Signed Before Kaepernick Are Gold

Brock Osweiler is headed back to the Denver Broncos, and people are not happy he got picked up before Colin Kaepernick.

Osweiler, who played for the Broncos two seasons ago, was resigned by Denver almost immediately following getting cut by the Cleveland Browns.

As you can imagine, people were not happy Osweiler has a job and Kaepernick doesn’t.

Brock Osweiler has a job and Colin Kaepernick does not. Just let that sink in. #Kaepernick #BrockOsweiler

I think Kaepernick + Broncos D would give them 11 wins. But no, go ahead, sign Osweiler.

Hmmm. Correct me if I'm wrong(and you will) but doesn't the header imply that colon will get signed? I'm thinkin' not. Maybe he needs to try the kenya football league.

Brock Osweiler is headed back to the Denver Broncos, and people are not happy he got picked up before Colin Kaepernick.

Who are the people "not happy" that Osweiler got picked up before Kaepernick?

ESPN?

There's two chuckleheads here in the Chicago radio market on WGN that do a weekend sports show that do nothing but prattle on and on about how they cannot believe Kaepernick hasn't been signed "yet."

Kaepernick's politics are far less a problem for him than are, oh, say his STATS which show he isn't worthy of playing in the NFL. That's really all there is to it.

If Kaepernick had better stats and shown himself capable of running an NFL caliber offense, he'd have been signed by now. The proof? Look at the increasing number of idiots "taking a knee" each week that are playing in the NFL.

I do not know why this is even an issue, but thank you for posting good articles and in particular for the less cluttered print version that I prefer.

Kaeperdick should not want to play in the NFL. He should totally boycott this evil racist society. Let him play football in one of his favorite African countries instead.

Colin could still be with the 49ers had he not decided to opt out of his contract.

Yeah, I doubt Vance Joseph - Denver’s black head coach - has any hidden agenda in saying “no thanks” to Kaepernick. Osweiler isn’t much good, but he knows Denver’s offense and the players there. Kaepernick would need the offense to be changed to suit his peculiar style.

Kaepernick would not make the Broncos’s team. He would destroy it.
Guy is a clubhouse cancer.
ESPN should sign him to their broadcasting team. Wonder why they haven’t. I will not watch ESPN until they sign Colin.

Kaep apparently admires communism. I hear Venezuela is looking for a QB. The pay may not be to his liking, but it’s about what his actual skills should merit. Why doesn’t the lying prima-dona do what Tebow did when dropped by the NFL; go build a hospital in a needy country, or at least go hustle cases of food and bottled water in Texas? Can’t he go somewhere and at least APPEAR to give a damn?

If Kaepernick had better stats and shown himself capable of running an NFL caliber offense, he would have never taken a knee during our anthem.

He is a loser as a pro QB and in life.

He will probably try to be male version of Mad Maxine Waters and will run for congress as a commie BLMer in a special congressional district.

I cant imagine why no one wants to hire him? Doesnt he represent the character and moral standing of every team in the NFL.

Does he actually play a position or is he expecting to be hired on his pre-game anti-American protest abilities?

He decided to play “flag” football, and now no one wants him. He’s about as toxic as can be.

Good, and all those Brown Clowns who did the same, should get the same.

Right.

As always, ‘the people’ that any media, including the sports media, mean are everybody in their own news room and leftist buddies at the bar.

Yes, it should have been written “instead of” not “ahead of.” Of course, “instead of” implies that Krapper was being considered, which he probably wasn’t.

We know he REJECTED the offer to stay where he was at a given price.

The rest of the NFL has determined his skills are NOT WORTH A HIGHER PRICE!

It’s time someone in the NFL community states the obvious: CK is a one trick pony quarterback. He was brought in by Jim Harbaugh to exploit a temporary inability by defenses to cope with the read option offense that Kapernick ran in college. Once defenses adjusted Kapernick was forced to stay in the pocket to throw but takes too long to decide where to throw and get the ball away with his long delivery motion resulting in sacks, hurries and scrambling runs. In his defense he was playing behind a poor offensive line but it’s dubious that he would do much better behind a good one. It should also be noted that most of his better stats were achieved after the game had been decided when the opposition had gone into prevent mode on defense.
