David Clarke, the controversial outgoing sheriff of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, is expected to take a job in the Trump administration, according to two sources familiar with the matter.
Clarke resigned as sheriff on Thursday. A regular presence on Fox News, Clarke has become a well-known figure in conservative circles in recent years. He is also an avowed supporter of President Donald Trump, and he spoke at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland last year.

He’s a Dem because no Republican could win in his district. The replacement will surely be a Dem and so Milwaukee’s crime & murder rates will soar to match Chicago’s.
The Clarke resignation part is true.
Clarke is a registered member of the Democrat Party, but only because his county is very liberal and so he can win elections. On the issues, Clarke is very conservative, even more conservative than many Republicans.

He is a democrat in order to be elected in democrat controlled Milwaukee county. He has to fight the uber liberal Milwaukee County Executive and County Board that reduced his budget and number of deputies.
He was appointed by Republican governor was elected as a Republican, but the democratic forces including Bloomberg spent record amounts to defeat him in the last election in which in ran as a Democrat. He controlled a riot or two by his quick actions, and he is very outspoken in favor of citizens protecting themselves with guns.
He has fought hard as a conservative and won. He is not taking a government job, but will still be in the public forum.
You do know that a registered republican could never be elected Sheriff in Milwaukee, right?

President Trump is going to have Sheriffs Clark and Arpaio handle the arrests of Comey, Mueller, Rice, Lerner, Koskinen, Holder, the Clintons (all of them), Lynch, Soros, Obama, and several members of Congress.
Sheriff Clarke is like Sheriff Joe, he enforces the law. This is very controversial to your typical Libtard.

I love Sheriff David Clark. He is so intelligent, courageous and clear thinking about everything. I have been disappointed that he is not already a part of the Trump Administration. This is great news.
