BWAHAHAHA!
I suppose technically, it was man-made flooding, because some man didn't maintain the pumps.

Yeah, but what broke the pumps in the first place? Global Warming causes water (and everything else) to heat up. Warm water expands, and I’m sure that’s what caused the pipes to brake.
Why do I have to think of everything around here?

Of course, it's easier to blame climate change than to take responsibility for failing to properly maintain the equipment your $175,000 salary says you're supposed to do.

And this is Trump’s fault isn’t it?
I still am frustrated all these years later, that the liberals and the media balmed Bush for Katrina. In spite of a Democrat mayor and a Democrat governor, it was a republican president who was to blame.

I’m willing to bet taxpayer money was paid to “maintain the pumps”. Wonder where it really went?

As climate changes, more pumps will begin to fail, or less of them. Worse case scenario is that it will remain about the same.

Building below Sea Level is to blame.
All that TAXPAYER money wasted after Katrina rebuilding New Orleans Neighborhoods still frosts me to this day.
Oh yeah, that and the TAXPAYER funded Debit Cards that were given out like Candy after Katrina that kept the Casinos and Strip Clubs happy as Clams.

“The mayors office warned Thursday morning a fire had taken out a turbine that powers most water pumping stations in the East Bank of New Orleans.”
Fire was caused by global warming.

The political question is:
What percentage of the voters believed that it was climate change versus inept management and maintenance?

It may be that the pumps just froze after they burned out, therefore it is climate change? See, you have to think like they do to figure out how it could be blamed on climate.

If only these climate change morons would take themselves out of the equation. But, noooo, they’re still here using up the Earth’s resources. Proof they aren’t as dedicated as they make themselves out to be.

Living in a generally non-flooding area of the U.S.,it’s always been hard to understand the wisdom of building a city on a coast, below sea level, & then turning around & rebuilding it after a flood. Then again,I don’t understand Democrats, either.

It doesn’t help that the city is under sea level.
