Ann Coulter was a big supporter of then-candidate Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, but so far she's been underwhelmed by the Trump presidency.
On Friday, Coulter unleashed a series of tweets, ripping Trump for his lack of progress on building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, addressing illegal immigration and halting the flow of Middle Eastern refugees into our country....

Winning the war was a project, yes. It was a project of love and determination on the part of Lincoln. It was a project of cost, sacrifice and tribulation for the entire nation as well. Don’t be so quick to fall back on semantics.
Dear Ann,
While I wholeheartedly agree with you on the necessity to build a wall, and to do so as quickly as possible (and I loved “Adios, America” btw), right now I believe that you should be more worried about, and put more of your efforts into, the survival of Donald Trump’s Presidency. In case it had escaped your notice, both the extreme Leftists and the Deep State (and, yes, there is some overlap) are going all out to cripple and/or end the Trump Presidency. I would far rather see your scathing remarks directed at the treasonous scum who OPPOSE the wall than on someone who is absolutely ON OUR SIDE, but rather besieged right now. Yes, Trump can walk and chew gum at the same time, but he really does have his hands full. Additionally, getting rid of Obamacare and getting a nice tax cut through the Congress are a very high priority - those things will win or lose lots of races in 2018 (if they are accomplished, or not), far more than the building or lack thereof of a wall.
Please, Ann, take a step back and look at the big picture. You’re usually quite adept at that, but right now you are missing the forest for the trees.
Memo to Ann: The funding for the wall comes from US congress, not from an executive order, and Trump can do nothing unless he spends his own money to build the wall.
Let me try to be a bit more clear. There may not be any wall if he leaves office, there may not be any wall if he stays in office. In other words, there may not be any wall in spite of what he promised.
Being as the President is up to his A in alligators, the question the pretty blonde lady with the foot-long neck needs to ask herself is this: does Mr. Trump have time to take my nattering harpie comments to heart at this time, or will he just brush them off as if they were dandruff on his suit?
Yeah, she might take into consideration that they’re already trying to impeach him, they smear him 24/7 on TV, the Internet, newspapers, plays, videos and elsewhere, they have given him 0 dollars to build a wall and he has thousands of other issues to deal with.
Bids are out and received. I believe the decision has been made or is close to it. Building should start by fall
Ann needs to help drain the swamp not just pile on
I’ve been very patient with Ann. But I’m losing it.
I should have added that Trump also faces opposition from a lawless federal court system.
I just ignore her when she is off of her meds.
If Trump had all the funding for the wall, all the environmental impact statements, all the permits, all the contracts, it would be blocked by a federal judge on some pretext. Guaranteed. Just look at what a judge did with the Dakota pipeline.
Yes we do.
Trump must really love America because there is no other motivation to take on both parties and the Federal bureaucracy and the legislating courts and the MSM like he has.
I agree completely. I usually agree with most of what she says but right now I wish she would just shut up. He cant do a thing without Congress behind him. They are the ones being cowards.
Lack of progress? Anyone that thinks there is no progress on deporting illegals or other border issues needs to do some research. Things are changing on the border, faster than I ever imagined they could. President Trump has years worth of hurdles and roadblocks and supporters of open borders and illegals fighting him every step of the way. He doesn’t even have his own budget to work with yet and is still making progress and lining things out to gear up.
As to a border wall, I know people who are working on a border wall...right now. This is a small section, but definitively a wall by anyone’s definition. More is going to be built, things are being lined out.
Sorry she is out of the loop.
Sadly I agree. Coulter is a loudmouth demagogue, but in this case she's right. After eight years of a Trump presidency, I except the same progress on the "yuuuuuuuuge wall" that Obama made on his "campaign pledge" to close Gitmo.
If Trump proves me wrong, I'll be happy to admit it.
How about a little patience?
Trump has a lot of things to handle all at once.
I quit following her on Twitter. Got tiresome.
Site acquisition is underway and will require in a number of cases, the exercise of eminent domain involving court cases and environmental impact statements. The design phase is also underway with designs being submitted. Ann seems to believe that the construction of the wall should already be "shovel ready." Not so.
What a friggin’ drama queen...
