i was finishing up motor officer course at Ft Knox before PCSing 3.5 years to Germany.

On my 24th birthday, I was hard at work, hustling to feed my young wife and firstborn son. Those times were hard, but the heat and pressure of those days tempered the steel of my burgeoning manhood.
