Finally motivates “liberals” to slam and eliminate – or at least cut back – early voting
Body slamming a reporter is a reprehensible anti-democratic act, but it may save democracy in the United States if it finally motivates “liberals” to slam and eliminate – or at least cut back – early voting. There is a sense that the people who voted prior to the election in Montana made the difference in electing the candidate in Montana who body-slammed a reporter. As a result, enough people in America may finally be motivated to eliminate or cut back early voting, even if for the wrong reason.
Early voting – especially weeks in advance—is anti-democratic for a few reasons.

Personally, I have no problem with the body slamming and it probably would have increased my desire to vote for him if I lived there.

Good theory, but...
Early voting allows for the dead voters and the illegal voters, to cast their votes and go back into hiding, and not be questioned. It’s why we’ll never witness dead voters at the polls, or even the sneaky illegal voters.
BTW, shouldn’t there be a law that requires that, if a person voted early and dies before the actual election day, that that person’s vote should be withdrawn? Yeah, that would be a nightmare to handle by elections officials, but still, we would end up with dead people voting who won’t be affected by their decision.

I have never liked the concept of early voting. It opens up too many opportunities for fraud.
