Last Monday, I appeared at the University of Buffalo at the invitation of the courageous students of Young Americans for Freedom. They have to put up with campus Left-fascist thuggery on a daily basis, while I was able to leave Buffalo the morning after the event.
I say I “appeared,” because to say “I spoke” would be exaggerating a bit. Rather, I spoke a few sentences and made a couple of points in between being screamed at by Leftist and Islamic supremacist fascists who think they’re opposing fascism.
The Spectrum, the student newspaper of the University at Buffalo, reported:
Robert Spencer couldn’t speak for more than 30 seconds without students shouting and cursing at him. …
Spencer planned to speak to students about “the dangers of jihad in today’s world” but constant heckling from the crowd made it near impossible for him to complete a full sentence.
Indeed. The raucous student mob, of course, believes it represents the side of all that is good and righteous. These students have been hoodwinked into thinking that “Islamophobes,” rather than jihad terrorists, are killing people around the world.

One would think, that normal, principled, and intelligent people would simply attempt to refute the points that Mr. Spencer would’ve made, instead of simply shouting him down.
But I guess that’s expecting too much, especially from liberals.
It’s not enough to just deny reality. Sometimes you have to take preemptive steps and kill the messenger before the message can even be heard.
It’s getting to be SOP at colleges these days. And it will continue until the administrators take action to expel these fascist goons.
The intent of the audio system should be to so dominate ambient sound that it becomes impossible to conduct casual audience cross-talk.
In a rational world, and in a country run under the rules of law and God, the hecklers would have been asked to leave the venue. Hecklers, would voluntarily leave the venue by the dictates of good manners which flow unseen under the penumbra of Christianity’s influence. Then, with increasing force in an amount necessary to effect the rule of law, remaining hecklers would have been forcibly removed from the venue and charged with the appropriate crimes.

The KKK would still be a powerful organization if people had behaved the way these clowns are doing.
People on FR are well aware of the unconstitutional thuggery that is occurring in “academia” often at taxpayer supported institutions. Often the thugs are openly protected by state employees. Sadly the majority of the American people are unaware of this threat to their liberty since the MSM does not report it in a critical manner. Might not be a bad idea to tape these events, clearly identify publicly the thugs, post it everywhere and even sue personally those state employees who collude to violate civil rights.
And when the muzzies murder people these same people blame it on people like Spencer.
I hope that one day these fascist individuals get to feel for themselves how truly tolerant muzzies really are.
Exactly. Easy and inexpensive to do in this day and age....just have a rock concert capable sound system for the speaker.
Where are these ‘protestors’ when Islamists throw gays off the top of buildings or remove the clits of women?
Sadly Campus Free Speech Legislation is coming at the state level, it is in process here in Michigan. I can see this movement gaining steam in all but the "Blue-States" that went for illary, that's ok, these speakers will not waste their travel dollars on these new Soviet Satellite States. I say it is sad in the sense that this legislation shouldn't be needed because oh-da you progressives it is in something called the Constitution.
Scares the BeJezzus out of me as to how they will come back to what you and I would consider normalcy if at all. One saving grace is I got to see some in action as they actually comically and sardonically throw all Obama's preachings out the window as they stripped all barriers and made fun of one another regardless of Color, boy, girl etc. Maybe their is hope...

The breakdown of manners in this country began years ago when children were allowed to address their elders by their first names. I am disgusted by total strangers addressing me by my first name in banks, businesses, and even people trying to sell me something. There is NO RESPECT LEFT and it is due to the idiots who broke down the use of age old proven courtesies. No young punk has anywhere near my knowledge or living history. If they get smart mouthed with me they WILL get their comeuppance. Time seniors started taking back their authority. That includes so called college professors and administrators.
If I disagree with a speaker, I don’t attempt to shut him down. What is wrong with people? Why do those in charge allow this type of behavior?
