In an open letter published May 2, 2017 in UCLAs Daily Bruin, history Professor Teo Ruiz penned an invite to all students, staff and faculty to join him and other professors every Monday in front of Bunche Hall to protest the Trump administration. The plan is to convince anyone within earshot that key on Trumps agenda is to destroy the environment, do away with civil liberties, and give heath care the old heave-ho and cast it out of Americas existence forever.
Twenty-one other UCLA professors signed the letter, which equated Trumps presidency and administration to an Orwellian nightmare, referring to George Orwells 1984, which portrays a government that is destructive to a free and open society, and expresses an attitude of fierce control by the use of propaganda, surveillance, misinformation, denial of truth, and manipulation.

Yes. Give Obamacare the old heave ho.
I haven't seen any evidence of that yet, but we saw it in spades with Øbongo.
Trump eats puppies and kittens, doncha know?
I don't believe this. 0bama was an Orwellian nightmare if there ever was one.
California universities should reject all federal funding as a protest to the evil Trump!
These Universities need to be starved.
NO more taxpayer funds.
ALL Left-wing professors fired.
.
MOST PEOPLE I know can no longer afford health insurance due to Obamacare. Always had it before. Too pricy now. All paying the fine now. Where does that money go?
“and expresses an attitude of fierce control by the use of propaganda, surveillance, misinformation, denial of truth, and manipulation.”
They are accusing Trump of this stuff——— BUT IT DESCRIBES LIBS TO ME.
...portrays a government that is destructive to a free and open society, and expresses an attitude of fierce control by the use of propaganda, surveillance, misinformation, denial of truth, and manipulation...
Destructive of a free and open society:
Divide on racial lines and conquer
Fierce control by using propaganda (the MSM,)
Surveillance (look to Snowden’s revelations and spying on Trump and the AP news reporter,)
Denial of truth (Obama statements and Jay Carney press conferences,)
Manipulation (of “facts” coming from government to sway opinion...an example is the global warming scam by using fake and misleading data)
It’s Obama for sure.
This is the university that paid Hillary $300,000 to give a speech.
He is a expert in medieval Spanish history. Here is a typical publication.

The institutionally indoctrinated history professor is evidently clueless that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for any of the things that he has mentioned.
Whats going on imo is that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification feds exploit low-information voters in the following way. Career lawmakers win votes from such voters by promising voters the things the prof mentioned, the voters not understanding that feds dont have the constitutional authority to provide voters with such protections and services.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
In other words, fed lawmakers steal state powers and associated state revenues to provide the indicated, vote-winning rights and social spending programs.
Teofilo Ruiz
Corrections welcome.
I’ll bet that anyone who showed up at their protest in a MAGA hat would be assaulted.
The projection is strong with these ones it is.
Guess those profs don’t recognize their Newspeak contribution to the 1984 scenario.
