Trump Declared May 1 Loyalty Day, But You Shouldnt Freak Out About It
By Morgan Brinlee 19 hours ago
President Donald Trump asked Americans to reaffirm their allegiance to the United States' founding principals in a proclamation that caused a number of people on social media to flip out. In his proclamation, Trump called on Americans to "observe this day with appropriate ceremonies," including reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, and asked government officials to display the American flag on all government buildings and grounds. But while Trump's request may sound a bit Orwellian, the truth is there's no reason to freak out about Trump's Loyalty Day proclamation, as the holiday has been around for decades.

The left is claiming he just bashed the Constitution calling it archiac.
I dont know what to make of that Interview with fox.
Maybe he was talking about parliamentary procedure. He sort of talks in a stream of concious way.
I will say we need the check and balance system.. the problem is the GOPE Not the system itself. Ben franklin said he gave us the tools...if we could keep it...paraphrasing.
The left, media, talking heads, radio show hosts are all out to take President Trump out...
“The truth is like a lion;
You don’t have to defend it.
Let it loose;
It will defend itself.”
I have always looked at President Trump as the Lion...and his Cabinet as a group of Lions...
In this case..its Trumps own words knocking the system put in place by the Constitution calling it archaic. He goes on to talk about the Rules in the House and Senate. ..so not really sure what he is saying. So maybe he just means parliamentary rules.
I haven’t heard it, so don’t know anything about it...
Anything with a directive to “you” in the title assumes the reader is already brainwashed and part of the leftist collective.
Okay, I have read this article twice, in it I find nothing that is saying that President Trump said anything about the Constitution....
Is this the article of which you are speaking of? And if it is, where do you get that ‘they said’ he did???
Other than this article, I have no idea of anything about him talking about the Constitution other than enforcing what it said...
Should the flag be displayed on Loyalty Day?
The last time that there was a Loyalty Day Parade in Chicago was 1969, during the Vietnam War.
