Whether it’s racial, economic, gender or sexual orientation, there will always be prejudice and discrimination. But the idea that this discrimination is institutionalized is ludicrous and downright harmful
To listen to the juvenile whack-jobs ranting about ‘white privilege’ one would think that black slavery was still pretty much alive and well in America. The latest pabulum maintains that white people merely have to show up, blow their white folks’ dog whistle and wealth and power just falls into their laps.
Except that it doesn’t. My own personal experience as a white guy who came from a dirt-poor family is just one example. I won’t bore you with my various tales of working full-time while earning my college degree or with all the social opportunities today’s young take for granted that I chose to forego in order to sleep and/or study, but suffice it to say my efforts, not my whiteness, are largely to be credited.
The myth is used as a mechanism to transfer rights, opportunities, power, and money from the allegedly privileged group to allegedly unprivileged groups.
I wish I had a dollar for all the times in my working life when people would see me on the street and offer me a really good job, just because I was white. College and a technical degree was really unnecessary due to my white privilege. It was all I ever needed to succeed in life. I could be half drunk and bedraggled, and folks were still trying to get me to take these good jobs! Didn’t need a resume!
It is my privilege to give the government more than 50% of my income.
The issue is a class privilege. If you have money you can do things

Progressives have been waging war against the vestiges of our founding legacy Protestant culture via the clever proxy of race. If you take a sample of the rhetoric and do a cluster analysis, where do groups cluster?
The clusters are always various victim groups and their counter-party is always some form of “white”. The most vicious and hated counter-party is that of “white male”, and the more “angry” the better.
But to what end? I think to drive anything and anyone related to Christianity out of academia, the public square and public discourse.
Once you realize the game, you can stop being played by it.

“White Privilege” is what happens when you adhere to the principles of Western Civilization and Christianity, which are entertwined so intimately as to be inseparable.
1. Believe in the rule of law and follow it.
2. Work hard, save, be frugal, and invest.
3. Treat others as you wish to be treated.
4. Accept objective truth and strive to understand it.
5. Accept responsibility for your actions.
6. Strive for self control and self discipline. Do not abuse your body, stay sober, stay chaste.
7. Accept the necessity of areas of common responsibility. Participate in the local social networks of church, local government, and charities.
Do these things inside of Western Civilization, and people prosper. That is what is called “White Privilege”.

“White privilege” is what happens when you have two parents, a mother and father, who are married to one another, and who care about your upbringing to the extent that they make the necessary sacrifices to provide for your future. They read to you before bedtime, say prayers with you, check your homework, check your grades, urge you to work and do chores, etc.
This sort of thing doesn’t happen very much in a population with over 70% illegitimacy.
And “racism!” lost traction because Puritan descendants fulfilled their part of MLK’s “dream”.
