ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) One Korean-American companyoperating a stainless steel cookware company in China is proving that America is a good place to create jobs.
Aircore Cookware has a Conditional Use Permit and development plans underway to construct a manufacturing facility in Adelanto at Rancho and Verbena Roads. The stainless steel factory will be 100,000 square feet with two stories. The manufacturing facilities will each be 28,000 square feet with three separate buildings, each one story.
This isnt just a pipe dream, this project represents a $45-$50 million dollar investment in our community and will bring 250 full-time jobs to the High Desert, said Adelanto Mayor Rich Kerr.
Along with the two-and-a-half acre property, three-and-a-half and four-and-a-half acre properties have also been purchased by Aircore Cookware at the Rancho site. Aircores investment will bring much needed infrastructure to the area including road paving, water and sewer.
Were talking about an international company thats been around for 20-years in the Asian market, now choosing to bring its high technology products to America, said Kerr. Aircore currently operates an 80,000 square foot facility with 100 employees in China, and sells products on QVC along with a prototype to Starbucks.
This project will become the largest manufacturing plant to date in Adelanto, said Kerr.
Because of Aircore selecting Adelanto, the project owner Peter Park has indicated that other companies have begun to ask why Adelanto? The answer is ease of trucking, availability to rail and attractive land values. Weve learned through Mr. Park that theres another company with 12,000 employees planning to visit our city and see first-hand what we have to offer, said Kerr.
We promised two-and-a-half years ago that this Council was going to move forward and make this city the gem of the High Desert and were going to, Kerr said proudly at the recent City Council meeting.
Why California?
“Why California?”
My guess is they do not have a clue about how politics work in this country.
Adelanto is the one place you would never want to live in. It is very hot in the summer and in the winter. Virtually no stores and restaurants in town. And the only form of entertainment the High Desert Mavericks (minor league baseball) folded last year.
Ouch.

I wonder how much of George AFB is left. The runways may still be good.
cheap land workers live in Victorville
A bunch of old abandoned airstrips.
I believe there is a large freight airport there now.

I am amazed how POTUS Trump does such greatness for America. I am critical at various foreign affairs but his demonstration of MAGA in regards to jobs and corporations investing in America is outstanding.
Land is cheap?
I checked realtor.com and the most expensive home is a 6 bedrooms, 3 car garage, and 3400 square foot, four year old home. The sell price is $315k. In CA that price is peanuts.
California?? Even Trump is trying to make California great....
It’s close enough to Victorville, but, yeah, it’s sucky.
We had a boat built by Cabo in Adelanto. We visited the facility some years ago and it was the the most godforsaken place.
Cabo has left so it’s nice to know there will be some new business in the area. I sure wouldn’t want to live there.
It’s Cheap alright.....
For Good Reason!
yep. 40 acres for $85,000 seems pretty cheap.
