“Chick-fil-A” – That Sounds Rather Misogynist

The past 7 days have been rather eventful:

• Susan Rice was unmasked as the unmasker in the Obama administration’s surveillance of the Trump team
• The U.S. initiated a bombing run on Syria in retaliation for their use of chemical weapons
• Evidence that the Obama administration was spying on the Trump team emerged
• Neil Gorsuch was confirmed and sworn in as a Justice of the Supreme Court
• North Korea has been rattling their sabers again, threatening to start WWIII, leading Trump to lean on  Chinese President Xi to control the little Nuclear Gnat.

And yet what are students at Pittsburgh’s Duquesne University living in fear of?  Chick-fil-A.

Not because their chickens aren’t certified organic and 100% hormone free but because the corporation supported traditional marriage – a position that the LGBT^etc community finds abominable. You are still free to hold whatever opinion you want on college campuses - as long as you concur with the prevailing campus doxies, or keep it to yourself.

Here’s my unsolicited advice to parents: if your child is going to college to become a social justice warrior don’t bother. There are much cheaper ways to have their brain programmed.

For example: Television, YouTube, Facebook, Tumbler, and Instagram – all free. Warning: logic is not part of the curriculum.

I sometimes think about hard core conservatives who kids have to go to colleges where students scream that a Chick Fil A makes them feel unsafe..and they need a safe space.

I can’t even imagine that nonsense when I was in college.

Most of my friends are bikers.

They don’t do “PC” or “safe spaces”, so *all* of this seems like some kind of bizarre, surrealistic joke, to me.

It’s really not an exaggeration, I’ve had the misfortune of interacting with a few “SJW” college types. So completely ignorant of the real world, but so judgmentally certain that anything they disagree with is evil (even though they reject that construct) and it sends them into a panic attack whenever they encounter something upsetting. They’re seriously damaged people, and they’re being coddled which only makes it worse.

Rumor has it we’re going to get our first Chick Fil A soon. Well, 20 miles away but out here that’s in the immediate neighborhood.

My dad was a career prison guard.

As part of his job, they taught him self defense stuff, plus he picked up all the jail-fighting tactics, too.

When he came home at night, he’d roll me out of bed to show me his latest trick.

I was maybe 9 or 10 when he started that, and I’ll never forget what he said;

“Now , because you’re a runt, you’re gonna have to always fight dirty to survive.”

And then he taught me how, and it that was how he raised me.

He let me shoot guns from the time I was big enough to hold them and for my ‘sweet 16’ birthday, he bought me one of my own.

I may be rather rough around the edges for a “lady”, but I can survive in the woods.

All of the above is probably why I love TWD so much.

The women who survive are rough around the edges, too.

Anyway, as I was saying to the cashier..just a second..let me get you another card the guy said “No worries. It’s on us. “

I was embarrassed as a drove away. Felt bad about the free food.
