When President Trump said he made a deal with China, it seems he did. It is a good deal for US coal miners! President Trump said he wanted to help the coal miners get back to work, and he has made just a deal that will do that. North Korean coal shipments have been turned away at Chinese ports, and some are sitting abandoned.
China has placed massive orders for the steel-making commodity from U.S. producers. This is amazingly good news for the United States. It seems President Trumps time with Chinas President was well spent, and Trump is delivering his promise to bring back jobs to the US. China is North Koreas bread and butter, largest source of trade, and aid. This rejection of North Korean coal is meant to deprive Pyongyang of important source of foreign currency.
Surely North Korea is in shock and should be rethinking it present day threats to the United States.

Coal is about 20% of NK’s exports. That’s a big hit.

Unlike the Russians, China thinks long term. The last thing they want is a projection of Western naval power, ready to launch, off the Korean coast.
That is already reality, and Xi has taken the measure of President Trump and knows that there is a new sheriff in town.

Coal is about 20% of NK’s exports. That’s a big hit. Sure is and NK doesn't have near the amount of trading partners as most of the free world does but then they are not part of the free world are they.
Young Kimmy Un's is gonna pop a gourd methinks and possibly do something stupid but he knows he can't piss off big daddy China without hurting himself even more. What to do... what to do?
I think it's a safe bet every satellite available is looking down at everything going on in NK now and for the foreseeable future.

The last thing they want is a projection of Western naval power, ready to launch, off the Korean coast.Very good point. So a few things are helping to focus the mind of that butch-cut kid who rules North Korea:
- The successful strike on the Syrian airbase.
- The Carl Vinson task force steaming to Korea.
- China and US leaders laughing and joking together in Palm Beach.
- Self defense missile deployments to South Korea & Japan.
- Trump anger at North Korea.
- Trump's unpredictability.
- Trump's history of winning.
- A man with the nickname "Mad Dog" is
- T-Rex going to talk tough to the Russians this week.
- China refusing to take its coal -- 20% of North Korea's exports.

Q for anyone: A signal saying what? Is NK a client state of the PRC? If so, then Mr. Ronery, Jr is a puppet, and this stuff coming from the PRC is a load of codswallop. Either that, or the PRC has lost control of its creature. Which is it?

I live in Kentucky. One of the memes on NPR is that even with all of Trump’s bluster about bringing back coal jobs, the fact is that it is no longer economically viable.
Well, it looks like those jobs just may come back after all. I confess this one even surprised me.
Oh yea, and see tag line...

The only downside is that Soros brought up all the bankrupt coal assets.
Time now to take down Soros.
