Tim Tebow’s home run in his first professional baseball at-bat was an electric moment for many sports fans and media. Not for Shannon Sharpe though. The co-host of The Undisputed on Fox Sports 1 complained Friday that Tebow shouldn’t even be allowed to play baseball.
“We’ve got to stop this,” Sharpe demanded. “Here’s a guy who is going to try every sport until he finds something he’s good at. How about he’s not good at anything.”

I’ll have to yield the point: upon review, apparently they are doing better vs. ESPN in recent weeks. That surprises me, but then I’ve pretty much stopped bothering with sports recap shows all together.
And true: Sharpe has always dressed for success!

Exactly, try hitting 90+mph then throw in random decreases in speed with different movement. Also the fear of getting stuck in the ribs. Like a breaking ball that looks like it is a fastball that is going right for your neck until it drops in at the last second.

Tebow did something in two sports that he never will (homerun and touchdown). I don’t think this jerk would have any problem with Russell Wilson going duel sport. No, I am not comparing Tebow to Wilson.
think of all the money and time the teams will save if Sharp just publics a list of who should and shouldn’t play.

That is a class A ball game. He has 2 homers in 3 games. Jordan had 3 homers in 127 games.

I like Tebow a lot, but he was a TERRIBLE quarterback. And yes, he has the worst mechanics of any qb to make it to the pros. It’s amazing he completed the passes he did; but when he had to put a pass into a window, he just failed.
Just because he won a playoff game means nothing..remember what happened the next week against the Patriots. And there is the case of Trent Dilfer, who as the starting qb, won the Super Bowl in 2000. They traded him after that and was never a starting qb again in 8 years.
Also he was even worse during practice, which hurt the team as a whole. He never was able to grasp route trees, reading defenses, check offs, etc. The Patriots made a fool out of him. No Tebow was never an NFL qb and he had every chance to make it.

So why is this important to Shannon Sharpe? What’s it to him? He needs to stop running his mouth.
Sharpe was an excellent NFL player. Why can’t he leave Tebow alone who is 29 and playing Class A ball.
Tebow is likely to not get much further. So why attack him?
We love Tebow. He’s such a good guy.
