Have you ever wondered how much power, how much energy, comes from the muzzle break of a rifle?, especially from a 308 or a 50 BMG. Matt of Demolition Ranch Youtuber shows off the power of the muzzle blast from a 308 and a 50 BMG.
If you're not familiar of what muzzle blast can do then this demonstration should give you an idea of how dangerous it can get. Especially from a plastic bottle, head of lettuce, a roll of hand towel, light bulbs and bags of flour point of view.

I thought “muzzle blast” was the flash and fire that issues from the muzzle once the bullet leaves the barrel, allowing flames and smoke to blast out behind it.
BTW, the video at the site is more than 16 minutes long.
I could well be wrong, but I don’t think that “AMMO” was a complete round.
I think the “muzzle blast” is the very high PRESSURE that has forced the bullet out and on it’s way. The gunpowder is a tightly confined EXPLOSION and could well do damage to anything close at hand.
LOL, no such thing as wasting Dr. Pepper as it is already a waste product.
Just my opinion, can’t stand that carbonated prune juice.

The story I heard was that John Moses Browning observed grass being pushed down from the muzzle blast of a rifle and was inspired to harness that power to create a semi-auto rifle.
No, but I might wonder how much power comes from the muzzle BRAKE of a rifle. A broken muzzle wouldn't work too well.
I own a .50 cal air rifle.
A scuba tank fills the chamber proving 4 shots of .495 round ball.
There’s usually more energy in the gas exiting the barrel than there is in the bullet. Muzzle blast almost always is responsible for more of the recoil than the bullet is. One reason why suppressors also are effective muzzle brakes.
