It's not quite what Trump's tweet seemed to suggest, unless . . .
Heres a pattern youve probably noticed about the way the media deals with President Trump. When his literal words might be off target but his meaning can be justified, his literal words are all that matters. But when his literal words turn out to be accurate . . . well, thats not what he meant!
Did the Obama Administration wiretap Trump Tower? Or were there some other form of FISA surveillance that Trump clumsily described as a wiretap in a very specific building? Weve already dealt with the surveillance question, but the media rejects that because thats not specifically and literally what Trump said. He said Obama wiretapped Trump Tower. Theyve been telling us for weeks that there is no evidence this ever happened.
When your best way to get NON-LYING CRAP-WEASEL information to the public is a 140 character ‘tweet’, you don’t have space to be verbose.
‘Obama wiretap’ conveys a meaning that is accurate, if TECHNICALLY not as accurate as “Obama obtained a FISA surveillance court order to bug my hotel”
The media hates Trump, they don’t hide it, their reporting reflects it, turn off the media.
The media generally like to take President Trump very literally. They find it easy to portray him in a bad light if they insist that his words need to be accepted exactly as presented.
The people generally take President Trump seriously. We know what he means. We know he is correct. We like what he stands for. We don’t really care how he expresses himself.
And it bears noting that Trump put quotes around the word WIRETAP in his original tweet. If someone says that they were “wiretapped”, the quotes are generally interpreted in a loose fashion. You know what he means, You don’t expect that copper wires were spliced and tapped by some guy up on a telephone pole or something. But of course the media pictured President Obama, up on a pole, splicing copper in order to personally listen to Trump Tower — and the media’s conclusion: “That didn’t happen.”
I suggest the media start taking President Trump seriously. Everyone else does.
I sure have noticed the silence about the $$$ sent by v the Trump EPA to help with the Flint, Michigan water privlem.
Yup. Slimy MSM. Pond scum.
...and soebarkah is still a pathological liar.
Trump used quotes around the term “wire tapped”. Also Nunes said most of the information he came across had nothing to do with Russia.
