Even harder to believe; I’ve had a CA CCW for 16 years.
Good post!
When people point out that the U.S. has a higher violent crime rate than European countries, you point out that the violent crime rate among Scandinavian-Americans is comparable to the violent crime rate in Scandinavian countries.
Let them figure it out from there.
We had to be prepared because it was guaranteed that 0bama would declare martial law and suspend the elections.
I would love to find a graph showing the increase in CCW permits across the country over the past 20 years or so. the data is very elusive.
That's one million guns sold for every week Obama was in office.
Best gun salesman ever!
You must live in a red county with a pro 2nd Amendment Sheriff.
That, or you've got connections.
Kern County is almost “shall issue.” The current and past sheriffs have all been pro 2a.
That explains it.
If I could have made a living out that way, I might have moved there instead of Texas. Been here 11 years now, and yes, I've got a carry permit (open or concealed).
I would prefer TX.
That’s 230,000 guns sold for every week Obama was in office. Sadly, we suffered through eight years under the communist tyrant, not just two years.
I think Windflier meant 1 million guns a month...
My mind went to the tragedy that it wasn’t just two years under that far-left bigot, but I’m sure you read his meaning correctly.
The number of concealed carry permits, reflect only the ones issued by the states.
It might not reflect the number of permits issued by the individual counties/parishes.
Here in Louisiana, there is the state-issued permit, and each parish issues their own permit, legal within that parish, alone.
Since my world is filled within the parish, I have often entertained this idea.
You are correct.
Permits issued by counties and parishes are often not reported to a central location. This makes them difficult to count.
It is why we have a very limited idea of the number of permits issued in Maine and New York.

You can expect to lose that any day, now!
Dear Mark Twain,
And that is what scares the liberal left, the most!
Yes, that's right. I was in a hurry and goofed the arithmetic.
