"Since ABC is reporting that the meeting was listed on then Senator Sessions' public schedule, it is likely to have been immediately available to the public from Sept. 8th, and to the Judiciary Committee throughout the confirmation process, inclusive of January 10, 2017, when Sen. Al Franken asked the famous question."

On March 2, 2017, an early morning report by Pierre Thomas (Senior Justice Correspondent for ABC News) and Adam Kelsey indicated that Sessions had publicly disclosed the meeting in his public schedule...
A review of his Senate Confirmation Judiciary Committee Questionnaire answers and supplemental responses - which were duly notarized and submitted under oath (see affidavit on pg. 33 of the pdf) - thereby subjecting him to criminal charges for false testimony, statements or information - indicate that his official meetings with public officers as a U.S. Senator were requested in "Question 12c", and his response implies that he included that information in his sworn reply..."

The meeting was listed on his affidavit?
How could anyone accuse Sessions of lying under oath about a meeting with Russian officials if he had already disclosed the meeting in a sworn affidavit beforehand?
Didn’t Sessions open with something like:
“I am glad to be her in front of you respected Senators”?
That’s lying right there.
It’s a good thread. Don’t care if he joined 10 minutes ago.
He shouldn’t have recused himself because no one outside of the msm and the dems give a flying #### about all this.
I don’t want this stupid inquiry into who talked to Russia when, to hang over the administration indefinitely.
Glad Trump punched back HARD at obummer.
And I hate franken as much as I hate obama. That’s saying a lot.
That POS acted like a 10 year old during Trump’s speech and how in hell anyone voted for him is beyond me.
Waiting for someone to invoke the “fun on the couch” response by Rick Perry.
That took to steam out of Sen. Franken.
If breaking news turned into a haven for bloggers, you would quit using FR.
Going to a site full of cookies and more pop-ups than a whack-a-mole game sucks.
If he has something so important to say, he can post it in full and.....and...and....surprise us by engaging in dialogue and witty repartee of his own posts.
They almost never and very rarely do...yes, that was a repetitive sentence.
Which brings me to where bloggers get their so called opinion pieces:
1. Most of the time they source from a major news site.
2. They write just enough opinion, which is the excerpt and get you to click on their click bait site.
3. They plagiarize.
If he wants to blog there is a blogger section on FR.
Oh and his supposed blog is a a link to the actual ABC news article and he basically “Drudge-ified “ The title.
Troll. He asked if they met about the election, which they did not.
“The “famous question”??? More accurately it should be described as the “garbled, misleading confusing and confused question”. I guess it reflected the workings of the complete moron franken’s mind.”
Now that is a true statement. That had to be one of the most convolute questions.
“Troll. He asked if they met about the election, which they did not.”
I agree. I had to replay the question a couple of times to try and understand what Frankenstein was asking. Senator Sessions did not have that privilege.
LOL
spitting up my coffee-
thanks for the laugh
Agreed.
not that Savvy when it comes to those things. Thanks for the enlightenment.
