Cortisone injection
Iron in the synovial fluids causes arthritis. Lactoferrin is the best iron chelator to remove the iron.
I have severe arthritis in my left hip. Get the shot. It eases the pain greatly, can last a very long time and there's no reason to sweat it. You literally need HUNDREDS of cortisone shots over time to suffer any serious side effects.
Don't over think it. Give yourself time to heal and the shot to do its work afterwords. Don't push yourself.
You'll be glad you did it.
I asked my wife, who is an MD. She gave me a ho-hum answer about cortisone, “Um, it’s okay.”
Would you take it?
“No.”
Why not?
“It’s an anti-inflammatory. But if you take it long enough, it can cause scarring instead of doing what you want it to do. And it can cause your blood sugar to go up.”
Got my German Shepherd a cortisone shot yesterday, he seemed to tolerate it well....
Try exercise. I know it sounds cliche, but it will absolutely and utterly and totally blow your mind how much your physical ailments will completely disappear once you make the decision and become dedicated.
See this video below? This was me a few years ago. I’m not THE guy in this video, but I was just like him. The doctor told me I had arthritis. I could barely climb a short flight of stairs, my knees, joints constantly ached then I made a decision for the sake of my family and did just what this guy did. I was surprised as hell when I saw this video because I did the same exact thing. Went from 260 lbs to 180 and EVERYTHING improved.

When you do not exercise, your muscle mass decreases and your bones take the brunt of your weight and damage happens. Of COURSE arthritis is real, of course there are cases like rheumatoid that come from an autoimmune disorders, but what I am saying is far too often people are misdiagnosed with arthritis when it is simply a lack of exercise. You owe it to yourself to try it, I can tell you honestly you wont believe what you are missing. EVERYTHING improves.
I had hip bursitis this past year....chiropracter fixed me in 3 very short sessions of the Graston technique...no drugs, no shots.
I have no rotator cuff left, and our orthopod gives me a cortizone shot where the rotator cuff used to be about once a year.
All the rain, high humidity and cold weather recently may force me to get the shot in less than a year.
If I time it right, I don’t have to ge a shot for my allergies. I prefer a shoulder injection instead of my rear end.
If you ever need injections into your feet NEVER let an orto doc do it, they go through the bottom of ones feet through some very tough material. My doctor actually threw the needle like a dart trying to get it to penetrate. He accused me of being bad for his business because I yelled so loud.
My foot doctor explained that Ortho surgeons inject through the bottom of the foot while podiatrists inject through the side just below the bones and above the tough material at the bottom of the feet because the pain is much less severe.
Look up “black seed oil”
Gonna get a bone shaved down for more clearance for some tendons. I’ve tried physical therapy, chiropractors, and cortisone shots. Hopefully this will fix it.
Most people do not consider antibiotics can be used to treat arthritis. The cycline drugs have been used by some with some success. Link has a lot of info to consider.
One thing I have found greatly relieves knee pain is Turmeric.
I recommended it to my son and he says it has helped him with his back pain. I take two a day and believe me, the results have been wonderful. It is a non-inflammatory and has zero side effects. Can easily be found at any drug store and good supermarkets.
Time goes by fast when you are having fun.
Disciplined posters put their tumbler of scotch down while they type. Hate to think how many key-boards have been lost that way.
Don’t know if this will help you, but I find that my arthritis is quite tolerable if I watch what I eat. Starches and sugars really inflame my joints.
Turmeric might help your walking. It helped mine.

I had constant pain in both knees. 2 years ago, I started taking turmeric supplements with bioperine (pepper) on the advice of several freepers. It took awhile but, by golly, it worked! I still have minor pain and stiffness when I get up, but nothing at all like it was. I used to have to sleep with pillows under my knees because it was too painful to let them lay straight. Not anymore.
Hey, it’s worth a try? Don’t know how it will work with hip pain. Look up reviews of others who have used it. You might want to talk to your doctor if you are taking prescription meds. I’m 62 now, and my knees feel much better than two years ago.
Thanks. I don’t get much exercise because of the pain on my hip/thigh but in a pool I have no pain and much more range of motion. I wish I had a pool.
.
P73 Oregano oil caps will reduce your inflammation better than cortisone without the life shortening side effects.
I’ve been using it for decades.
