A story published by The New York Times that features a group of undocumented immigrants attending the University of Californias Merced campus has been caught in a swirl of controversy after the article included the dorm room numbers of five of the eight students profiled. Advocates for the students claim their safety has been threatened by the publication.
The article, Creating a Safe Space for California Dreamers by Times reporter Patricia Leigh Brown, was published in the papers Sunday edition and continues to appear, dorm numbers included, on the papers website, where it was posted Feb. 3.
The article centers on a program created by UC Merced that offers more focused support to first generation and low income college students, some of whom happen to be undocumented....

you could lable me as a criminal,
but if it weren’t for this
one forgiving soul, I would
not be where I am today.
I worked for him (in a
body cast) sqirting the
jelly in his donuts
until my debt was paid.
Too bad we don't have a conservative judge to slap that down. Once again they win because our side is too timid.
The NYT is making deportation great again!
No one sued to stop DACA.
The GOP should have as soon as Obama did it in 2012.
The states sued to stop his second illegal action DAPA and a judge did stop that one.
The GOP wanted him to legalize illegal aliens.
They were planning to pass Rubio’s Gang of Amnesty bill in 2014 to get the issue off the table for Yeb!’s run in 2016.
We Cantorized our weasel in June 2014 and that was the only thing that stopped them.
Wasn’t it the Times who published the addresses of carry permit holders in the entire state?
I think they’re hoping and praying for some “incident” to occur..
Does this mean they are now ‘documented?’
