Long, but oh, so worth reading. Brilliant writing. The comments are just as erudite.

Because suddenly, if you weren’t fainting to the ground with love and adoration for Saint Obama, you weren’t just called stupid, you were declared evil. You were RACIST! Because nobody could not vote for Obama, without being a RACIST! could they? Of course not. Both the media and the Obama voters let all of us — in poor dumb hick fly-over country — know just what kind of reprobates we were. For not being on board the Obama bandwagon.

The author seems to hinting or suggesting what happened with Obama's election was somehow as bad or as violent as the historic wide spread organized violence directed at Trump and his supporters for nearly 2 years now. If that's the case, no sale.

Long article with well written words but full of sloppy thinking characteristic of a child. Examples:

After watching Romney lose in 2012 — the only Presidential election in which I’d ever felt truly and deeply invested

He's letting his religion cloud his reasoning here. Nothing he's said in his article up to this line would justify his support for Romney - other than their shared religion.

How does she [Hillary] not win? Apparently, by being the one candidate 63 million voters disliked even more than Donald Trump.

He refuses to see that millions of people didn't just dislike Trump less than they disliked Hillary - they whole heartedly supported him. The man is still locked in his emotional "thinking" and has not yet developed a mind capable of seeing the world for what it is as opposed to what he wants it to be, and here he really wants everyone to dislike Trump just like he does. Brad, if you don't like Trump tell us why - don't tell us we dislike him just like you do.

There are many other examples in the article of his sloppy thinking but considering that he started life as a Democrat I do have to commend him and say - not bad child, you're finally starting to think.

“The Left became power-drunk on their ascendant ride through our culture, and now it’s morphed into the very kind of petty, thin-skinned, tin-pot authoritarianism which the Left claims to oppose”

In a word they became “Institutionalized”

This was a great read.

If any are wondering if it’s worth the word count. I’d like to reassure that it really is.

Very interesting. Thanks for posting. “I’m still pro-choice.” The author is smart and a good writer. He has discovered how liberalism is a mental disorder, such as supporting abortion after watching a sonogram.

Not once did the author mention one, simple way out of the narcissistic nightmare of leftist politics: prayer. He should say prayers, ask the Lord for guidance and light a candle for his friends in the Army.

“My Mom and Dad...” That’s what preserved him for the insanity of the left.

“And if you’re wondering how in the world an Animal House analogy works in all of this, consider the fact that Senator Blutarsky undoubtedly switched to the Republicans after 9/11/2001. Donald Trump rallies were the toga parties of the election. The Electoral College smashed Hillary Clinton’s guitar against the stairwell wall.”

Great post. I wrote Boxer and Feinstein during the Bill Clinton impeachment. They did respond that they continued to support him because of all the other good things he did. I was a Democrat then and I was appalled and horrified.

Watching the histrionics of the democrats on the floor during the impeachment was the final straw. All sound and fury and emotion, signifying nothing. I never looked back.

The ARE the party of the feelz and they make me sick. I’m just hoping they’re making the younger generation sick too.
