An early morning shooting in Houston Monday is under investigation and police say it may have stemmed over a cold taco.
According to the Houston Police Department, a man and his girlfriend got a taco from a taco truck around 2 a.m., but the woman complained about the taco being cold. The woman apparently asked the taco truck worker to heat up the taco, but when he refused, the woman became irate and pulled a gun on the worker.
At that point, the womans boyfriend asked her to calm down, but she instead pulled the trigger, striking her boyfriend. Authorities did not say whether they believed the shooting to be intentional or accidental, but the man is expected to survive.
Its unclear whether the taco was reheated or eaten.
This thread will be priceless.
Somewhere in there one might find the axiom The customer is always right.
Learn it. Live it. Love it.
I submit for consideration that the shooter in this story is probably in the "No Go Zone".
2. If you come home with a cold taco don't let your girlfriend near a weapon.
3. If she does get hold of a weapon DO NOT tell her to calm down.
4. If you insist on saying something, tell the Taco Guy he's on his own.
Wise words to live by indeed!
Why no names?
The funniest South Park episode ever!
Justifiable shooting. Anybody that doesn't know you NEVER say "calm down" to a woman is a Darwin Award candidate in the making.
That's true, one of the constructive things I learned from couples therapy long ago is that every couple has the same fight over and over.
That doesn't mean that all couples fight about the same thing. It means that within a relationship, there is usually one primary issue that is at the core of every fight.
The anger or emotional pain underlying each couple's core issue manifests itself in every fight that the couple has, no matter what is the excternal trigger for any particular fight.
I have found that to be a true observation.
IF MAMA ain’t HAPPY.,, ain’t NOBODY HAPPY!!
Huh?
I think that the Hot/Crazy Matrix is hysterical!* And (in most cases) quite true, as well. I even agree with the starting at ~4 crazy level.
*Disclaimer — I am a woman
The woman’s taco was cold?
Seems to me the guy was the one with a legitimate complaint.
Of course, he could’ve volunteered to get a hairdryer or something to warm up her taco.
Alcohol or drugs involved.
I’m going to guess that the shooter is about a (4,10) ... no better than a (6,10)
If she shoots you over a taco, she’s a “10” crazy ... no arguments to the contrary can be accepted.
The gentleman should be glad he’s still alive, and should carefully study the H/C Matrix. It may save his life.
God, of course it was intentional.
You’re a g-d cabbage if you cannot glean that.
I’m cornfuzed.... who had the cold taco?
“Was the NAACP there to provide mouth to mouth?”
They were late getting there. If they had been earlier they might have given mouth to taco.
Hey, you know a bunch of people were thinking this, I just couldn’t help myself and wrote it.

I could say something like I prefer a Woman with a Hot Juicy Taco but it might be taken the wrong way, so I won’t.
