If theres any doubt left that we live in divisive political times, know this: Some fans of Harry Potter are burning their copies of the books to protest author J.K. Rowlings views of the U.S. president. And shes fighting back on Twitter, insulting those very fans.
Thats right, one of the most beloved series of books in modern history has now become a political prop. Is nothing safe?
(TWEETS-AT-LINK)
Rowling has been vocal about her feelings concerning President Trump for some time. She has mostly used Trumps favorite platform, Twitter, to share her criticisms....

Rowling was on shaky ground with many conservatives already, what with Harry Potter basically being occult themes all prettied up and wrapped in a cute bow. It wa an uneasy truce due to the popularity of the series. Go and make it political on top of that, and see just how well she does in the future.
Rowling was always a leftist. Read her adult books if you want to see bad writing and hatred of conservatives in action. Don’t buy them. Every fool librarian has them gathering dust.
LOL
Karma...
(Well,not really)
Fake news.
Conservatives don’t burn books.
So her liberal fans are pretending to be Trump supporters and claim they are burning their books.
Wait isn’t this person a British hag?
We really haven’t cared what a Brit has said since 1776.
Who cares about j.k.? My dog is more interesting.
Laura Ingraham had it right: “SHUT UP AND SING!”
She’s right though, they can slam her on Twitter all they want to, but ‘I still have your money!”, is her favorite response. Like many of today’s celebs and nouveau riche, she has bought into the lib side of all public disputes.
That is her choice.
I don’t care for the books, but I was never her audience.
This gal does know how to use her writing skills and make money. I have to admire someone who can literally dream up an entire genre. I would waste time dumping anger on her though.
She doesn’t need to change to suit me. I need nothing from her.
Another Brit, Richard Branson (CEO of Virgin Air) is the same way. He’s still knee deep into Global Warming, but has millions of Eu dollars to throw out the windows on experimentation. It’s his money. Sad that he was a Remainer, tho.
She became wealthy peddling Satanism to children.
She needs to shut up and enjoy her ill-gotten gains for however long she has left.
Word!
Our local school district just had a Harry Potter night. The students can’t read, write or do math but must surely know their Harry Potter favorites.
You’re better off reading Tolkien. A little harder to master, but infinitely more rewarding. And on firmer ground insofar as Christianity is concerned.

Witter is so dumb.
Well, it’s her franchise.
She can wreck it if she so desires.
You gotta hand it to her though. She was on welfare, a struggling single Mom, suddenly comes up with the Potter series and is now a billionaire.
I always steered clear of Rowlings’ books when shopping for nieces, nephews, and other kids. The only thing I know about her is that she seems to be focused on all variations of the occult. That’s some nasty stuff it’s best not to mess with.
So if she’s having problems... good.
As one who is not particularly “religious” in the regular church going sense, it has nonetheless long troubled me on peddling magic books to kids, I’m just not comfortable reading them ever since I was a kid. Everyone wants to say it’s harmless fantasy but I’m not persuaded of that. It makes no sense from a scientific standpoint, but there are some really strange folks out there, and they weren’t born that way necessarily.
She’s well on her way to becoming a millionaire now.
