Im having a fun time watching President Trump flood the news cycle with so many stories and outrages that no one can keep up. Heres how the math of persuasion works in this situation:
1 outrage out of 3 headlines in a week: Bad Persuasion
25 outrages out of 25 headlines in a week: Excellent Persuasion
At the moment there are so many outrages, executive orders, protests, and controversies that none of them can get enough oxygen in our brains. I cant obsess about problem X because the rest of the alphabet is coming at me at the same time.

I like your analysis.
By the time the enemedia starts freaking out at the latest “Trump outrage”; he’s 5 steps ahead of them with even bigger and better outrageous acts.
Go Trump Go!
Obama would manufacture a crisis to get people riled up, and then use that crisis to push a solution that would not otherwise get passed via normal means.
In Trump's case, we are already at crisis; he's just addressing so many of them simultaneously that the opposition can't organize an effective resistance. Plus, it helps that he's working on fulfilling campaign promises instead of trying to sneak something through that the people don't want.

Trump’s form of “Shock and Awe”...
The enemy has mass confusion in the ranks there running in Circle
Get ready ISIS... Trump has said no warn or talk about it so his attack on ISIS with be a bolt from the blue with no waring ..and we seen Trump Style.
.and we know how Maddog fights...it going to be total wrath of God
bkmk
bump
No-huddle offense with every play a shot at the end zone.
From your own 20.
Fundamentally transforming - love it
Isn’t it marvelous to see?
The press is still nursing butthurt about who gets the first question at the daily WH dump and how many people didn’t come to inauguration a week ago, while Trump is kicking ISIS to the curb, ordering the wall and the pipelines to get underway, stiffening congressional resolve to stop funding abortion, giving congress a chance to spank the UN, preparing to nominate a USSC nominee, getting the unions together in the WH for a standing ovation, meeting and giving corporate chiefs 30 days to come up with a massive jobs plan, personally visiting CIA and Homeland agencies, killing the obamacare mandate enforcement, and tweeting a dozen headline stories a day
Oh and the WH web page? Press 1 for English, Press 2 for English, for English press any number
Now, on the 7th day - Will he rest?
Shock & Awe Baby
Much of this is the way Trump operates.
I wonder if a little of this tactical process is from ...Bannon.
The NFL could learn much from DJT. If they did, I might start watching the NFL again.
There were so many, it was impossible to focus on just one.
Precisely.
you could call it Shock & Awe - Trump Style
Great analysis!
We can help Trump with this. Create our own little mini-outrages (within the due bounds of morality of course). Tick leftists with one thing after another, one outrage after another. If they try to pin down one thing you said, double down with another outrage.
Blanket this whole flippin country with so many things to be offended about that the whole things just collapses under its own weight.
According to another FReeper, Trump and his people were doing the same shock-and-awe tactics prior to the Inauguration — doing so much the press people couldn’t keep up.
Even though his military training didn’t go beyond high school, apparently he was paying close attention to strategy while he was there.
I was referring to post 2010 election not to the first two years.
It’s right out of the Clintons own playbook, to overwhelm political opponents with a flurry of actions that you don’t know where to start attacking.
It IS nice, isn’t it... glad you’re happy.
