This film will die, just like so many before it. Blacks only make up 12% of the population and only a tiny % of those will see a Black Movie that is not an action or comedy flick. Likewise, white liberals will only spend money if it is virtue signaling. When no one is looking, liberals keep their discretionary money in their "made from recyclable materials free trade wallets" and purses.

In junior college I was taught by a rabid white-hating black professor that the very angles of the pyramids proved conclusively that black Africans had mastered space flight.

Its a movie which will likely win Oscars due to the subject matter. Its politically correct and has already gained some Oscar buzz.

Any movie, and I don't care which one you name, that says it was "Based of a true story" is actually very, very loosely based on a true story.

I haven’t read up on Katherine Johnson but I suspect she’s another progressive plant like Margaret Hamilton in the space program. Margaret Hamilton was put in charge of the on-board flight software for the lunar lander and given endless praise in the press. The fact that her software was buggy and put the Apollo 11 crew on course to crash in a field of boulders is left out of her biography. It was only thanks to Neil Armstrong quickly taking manual control of the craft that saved the mission. The landing software was quietly rewritten by other people after the mission.
Progressives play the long game when it comes progressive group promotion. They put unqualified people in positions of great authority and once enough time has passed they rewrite history to make incompetents into mythical heroes to influence future generations.
Take note of who is it creating all this revised-false history: Democrats.

Even while I was reading “Years of Rice and Salt” the absurdity of many of the premises put forth were rather grating and dissonant. I’m glad someone was able to better voice my own perceptions of the novel.
I really dilike the claim that subsaharan Africans have lower IQs, as it may or may not actually be true and is nearly irrelevant. IQ tests have a severe problem with mis-use as those trying to use them often can make no case for how they are relevant or what they actually test for (I suspect just being literate could get you over 50).
Much of Sub-saharan Africa did not have advanced civilization for three reinforcing reasons: 1> The pre-colonial crops did not lend themselves to storage and transport. 2> Very limited ability to use water transport (I believe the Incas were the only civilization that did not use water transport both intensively and extensively). 3> Once you did travel in most of tropical Africa, you had a high likely-hood of getting very ill.
