Just when you thought we had left the US election back in 2016, it comes back to haunt us again in the headlines.
Remember back during the US election campaign when WikiLeaks released emails relating to Hillary Clinton?
Well, if you’ve been watching the news lately you’ll know US President Barack Obama and the FBI have pointed the finger at Russia, saying the Russians tried to interfere with the election result.
But there’s one person who is certain that’s no the case, and it’s not Donald Trump.
It’s WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Assange has sat down for an interview with Fox News, addressing the accusations that the Russians hacked the emails during the election campaign.
He said he was “a thousand percent” confident that the Russian Government wasn’t to blame.
“We can say, we have said, repeatedly that over the last two months that our source is not the Russian government and it is not a state party,” he said.
“Our publications had wide uptake by the American people, they’re all true. But that’s not the allegation that’s being presented by the Obama White House.”

The WikiLeaks founder also takes a swipe at Obama, accusing him of trying to ‘delegitimise’ Trump’s presidency.
“So, why such a dramatic response? Well, the reason is obvious. They’re trying to delegitimise the Trump administration as it goes into the White House.
‘They are trying to say that President-elect Trump is not a legitimate President.”
Meanwhile, it looks like WikiLeaks has big plans for 2017.
The site’s Twitter account posted an ominous message for the year.
“If you thought 2016 was a big WikiLeaks year 2017 will blow you away. Help us prepare for the showdown.”
So, what do you think about this whole debacle? Do you trust Julian Assange?
Obama has been trying to delegitimize America and the entire western world since he was in diapers.
So who gets the Captain Obvious title?
Is it the Obama-media-McCain contingent for being so obvious in trying to delegitimize Trump while pretending to care about the Russians?
So is McCain and Graham.
I’m really growing to love this guy.
Made a biased assumption that he was a liberal a##hole a bunch of years ago.
Maybe he is neither, one or the other. Or both.
But he’s got integrity. And guts.
Not once has a DNC lawyer crawled out from beneath a rock to claim the Podesta and DNC emails are false. Wikileaks has replaced the corporate media. No more filters, just the raw data, the public can look at it and make up their own mind. Not once has the corporate media even done the forensics on the emails or the Pizzagate instagram pictures that were discovered because of them. This information is not questioned as factual only complained about as how it was leaked. That is why the corporate media is finished.
The really weird part is how quickly everyone is willing to strike up a conversation about the “Russians.”
I’ll see it when I believe it.
While ignoring Hillary’s democrat party illegally attempting to influence the election.
I’m listening to Sean Hannity now. He managed to get an interview with Assange at an embassy...In Ecuador, l believe.
I believe Assange is truthful.
That’s pretty funny, the Kenyanesian Usurper couldn’t be any less legitimate.
I can’t wait for the 20th when I can unfurl my flag that has been in the closet for 8 years once we have a legitimate President again.
Do the democrats actually stand for the proposition that the voters should not have seen the DNC colluding with the press
and against Sanders in the primary and that we had no right to see the unfiltered and true Podesta emails that revealed the slime in hillary’s campaign? The Russians did not do it but if they had done it— DID THE PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW or not? Should we not thank the Russians, in that case?

Obama has failed at everything he has touched. Come, noon time, on January 20th, 2016...Obama will disappear into obscurity, forever,.....never to be listened to again for anything!!! Can you possibly imagine that any sane Democrat House or Senate member is going to meet with this buffoon, Obama, tomorrrow to help Obama save his “ Obamacare” fiasco...when the low life POTUS, Obama would never meet with his own party during his eight year term as POTUS....these Democrats must be severe bozos, or just plain dumb & stupid!!!

All together now Obama is trying to ‘delegitimise’ Trump as President, and those who supported and elected him all agree.
Throughout the Clinton e-mail investigation, Obama continually reassured the nation that no foreign actor got out classified e-mails off Clinton’s home brew server. After Nov 9th, it’s all the Russians’ fault.
So, which is it? Do the Russians have top secret e-mails off the Clinton server or not?
