Russia has not been identified as having any involvement:

1. The claim that the “election was hacked” is a bit of a misnomer.

Obonics: The election was hacked.

English: Fake News.

Yep pure utter BS perpetrated as facts when it is only political posturing and promoted as evidence by a media that has become as corrupt as the Democrat Party.

The Democratic Party is simply looking for talking points to keep their base from running far far away. The Democratic Party has two major talking points about the election. 1) Hillary won the popular vote. 2) The election was hacked by the Russians. We will be hearing these two points over and over from the Party loyalists, who need to blame losing the election on something. They cannot seem to blame a flawed candidate or flawed Obama Policies of 8 years. They want to “Keep Hate Alive” toward the new President, when all hope is gone!

During the cold war, the Soviet Union (Russians) spent 85% of their intelligence budget in the use on “Agents of Influence”.

Their goal was long term, to move us toward socialism and to weaken our cultural defenses.

It is reasonable to assume that much of that money was spent promoting sympathetic media, church and political figures, as well as helping foment racial divisiveness.

They left totally poo-pooed that effort.

The communist party endorsed Barack Obama.

Sad to say that, at this point, no amount of objective, factual information will sway the Kool-Aid drinkers in the Democrat Party/MSM.

Until the end of time, the mantra will be that the Russians “hacked” the 2016 election and stole it from Hilliary!.

U.S. intel officials have named the Russian hacking campaign “Grizzly Steppe.”

Is there still a department in charge of coming up with catchy names for military operations? This sounds like one of those things where somebody in a backroom had to come up with an operation name that started with the letter "G" and the letter "S".

In that case, I'll bet "Gassy Stool" was the runner-up.

I find it interesting that we have two reasonably sounding explanations for how the Podesta emails were hacked:

1. By an "Insider".

2. By a pretty standard "Phishing" ploy.

Add to this the Wikileaks/Assange assertion that it was "Not the Russians" and we have a pretty good case for our claim of "Fake News". To prove otherwise to me would take some solid proof of a a Russian-Wikileaks connection. I don't expect to find that. Ever.

But the Insider vs Phishing issue remains. I wonder if we will ever know for sure.
