Things To Remember As Monday Looms
Resistance Feed ^ | 12-15-2016 | Rhett October

Monday, December 19th is a big day. On the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December (December 19, 2016), the electors meet in their respective States to cast their votes for President and Vice President of the United States.

It's supposed to be when electors vote for the presidential and vice presidential candidate who won their state by earning the most votes from the people. It happened when Barack Obama won in 2008 and 2012 even though there were serious issues of concern to Republican supporters. There wasn't rioting, vandalism, or death threats against electoral voters.

Republican and Libertarian supporters were sad, angry, depressed, and frustrated but they went on with their lives, looking to future elections to encourage them and knowing that there were people in the Senate and House who represented them and would serve as resistance to Obama's globalist, Marxist actions.

So it's more than a little disturbing to hear of talk of electoral voters being threatened with death and violence (or death) against their families. It's stunning, especially from the political side who insists that it is the tolerant, accepting side. At least, that was their propaganda.

My wife and some other people who have been keeping up with post-election news asked me yesterday if Hillary Clinton is going to steal the presidency through the shenanigans being used in effort to flip electors from Donald Trump to her. My answer wasn't absolute, but it did seem to bring them some comfort. So maybe it will help others who are worried and concerned.

First of all, I don't know for sure what will happen. No one can. What used to be a sure thing - the electors voting how the people they represent wanted them to - is not quite at sure today. At least that's what the mainstream and even alternative media is reporting. But there's one thing I do know, Donald Trump is a fighter. And he has emboldened other Republicans to fight as well even in cases where they have disappointed us in the past.

Often times when it comes to politics, sports, or life, we think of the opposition as absolute. What I mean is that we don't consider that our side will not just roll over and take it. We have watched as Donald Trump has overcome colossal odds to win, not only the Republican nomination, but the presidency - even when opposed by the best funded political machine in history. He did so against incredible scheming, slander, and other attacks that seemed to never stop. Lesser men might have even dropped out of the race entirely under such constant bombardment and character assassination or at least watered down their message. But Donald Trump obviously isn't a "lesser man," or an average person. It doesn't seem to bother him when people disagree with him - he merely doubles down on his arguments. Trump proved himself to be a warrior who simply wouldn't back down, so why would we expect any less of him now?

If on Monday, there is foul play, Trump will fight against it. He's not just going to roll over and shrug his shoulders. He also has a team of lawyers and he knows what is at stake. Take some comfort in that. Republican officials and elected representatives are keeping close tabs on this situation as well.

Though not all of them, many of the American people, are seeing this for what it is - a desperate scam attempt to circumvent the American people. Hillary campaigned against Trump's allegations of voter rigging and fraud. She said that anyone who did not accept the results of the election was a "threat to democracy," and yet here we sit, with President-elect Trump and Hillary Clinton not accepting the results of the election. Of course, she's not making too many direct statements - she has the media and her supporters to do that so that she will appear somewhat neutral. The american people aren't buying that either.

So all of this to say that we all need to buckle up and be ready for things to potentially become intense next week. But at the same time, be ready to fight however we can as a people, and take comfort in knowing that we have elected a fighter who isn't going to simply give up if the other side were to do the unthinkable and appear to overturn the results of the election. The electors themselves are Trump supporters so they know the consequences of a Hillary Clinton presidency. My prediction is that the electors will vote Donald Trump in as they are supposed to. You'll hear more screaming from the left and there will be protests, but that should be expected and is not what matters. What matters is that Trump will, hopefully, be sitting in the Oval Office and working for the American people instead of the globalist, corporatist interests that Hillary would fight us for.

Let the left whine and cry. Most of them are so hopelessly brainwashed that they don't even know what they're upset about except that their "team" lost. Stay focused on what is important. Trust in God. Know that President-elect Trump is nothing less than a warrior.

Speaking from first hand experience, I can tell you that Gunner will be pleased mightily with such an offering.

He’s a real sausage and cheese and bread kind of guy.

Here’s hoping that you’re able to stand straight once more for Christmas.

(Or perhaps you enjoy leaning. Which is fine.)

December 19th is my birthday. Trump’s Electoral College victory will overtake my previous favorite birthday present — the one that Congress gave me in 1988... (hint: that one also involved a Clinton...)

Happy Birthday to me!!1! Woo hooooooo!

I guess the most substantial thing I can think of would be who the military would side with. Would generals see the need to fight against those even at home who attack the constitution? The main question would be, “Who is the president?” I’m thankful that it appears to be going smoothly with the electoral votes today. I know the media and democrats (but I repeat myself) will continue the offensive and try to make it seem like Trump wasn’t really elected or that he doesn’t have a mandate. All we need is for enough people to see past them.

It is really hard to say. The best option would be for the military to stay out of it all together and see what happens. Federal law prohibits them from taking up arms in this country (Posse Comitatus) but I suppose a Presidential emergency order of martial law could bypass that. But from a practical standpoint, there are only enough active duty and even reserve capacities to deal with urban areas. There are just not enough of them to blanket this country without doing some really serious damage using sophisticated weaponry.
