Stein provided a disclaimer that the cash might not be used for recount purposes. That said, it still seems like shaky legal ground. I remember reading about some guy who opened a P.O. box and put advertisements in newspapers that read, "Don't be too late, send in your dollar NOW!" or something along those lines. Long story short a court ruled against him when people came clamoring to get their dollars back.

The goal was never to get a recount. The goal was to sucker some rage-aholic, brain-dead Libs into giving money to the Green Party. And it worked like a charm.

WI recount will be tabulation by computer. Not a hand recount that they requested. They would have to give proof that the computer tabulation has an problem for a hand recount to take place. A computer tabulation can be done very quickly. So the delay tactic has no chance of working unless a hand recount takes place.

Oh, she won’t keep the money.
Per se.
It will be spent on getting recounts and testing election integrity, paying her closest associates $1000/hr fees for their expertise in the subject, and covering her considerable expenses (ex.: purchasing a private jet to speed from state to state before the deadlines) in the process.
$10,000,000 might just run out quick, leaving her to just dismiss everyone in lieu of actually getting anywhere, what with all those Trumpets in state governments blocking her every move...
