MOSCOW -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded Russian citizenship to action film actor Steven Seagal, the Kremlin said Thursday.
The 64-year-old Seagal has been a regular visitor to Russia in recent years and has accompanied Putin to several martial arts events, as well as vocally defending the Russian leader's policies and criticizing the U.S. government.
Seagal is the latest in a string of foreign celebrities to be awarded Russian nationality by the Kremlin in recent years. Others include French actor Gerard Depardieu and U.S. boxer Roy Jones Jr....

The only thing “Under Siege” from him these past few years, is the buffet.
One of the worst actors ever.
I've always loved his films for his low voice and almost motionless parries and always wondered if he was REALLY that proficient or was it hellywood.
This seems like a natural move for him and I have no problem with it.
He has an incredible collection of custom made 1911 pistols.

While I am no fan of either of them, I RESPECT PUTIN for at least seeming to CARE about his own country.
Segal and Putin both practice the martial art Aikido

Hehehehe.
I’ll give him one thing; he knows Obama is dangerous and has publicly said so.
It’s an impressive discipline. I was a Tae-Kwon-Do student for in the 60s, but switched to A-Kimber45-Boom after getting robbed and shot in ‘75.
I’m sure Obama cares about Kenya or Indonesia or wherever ..... He obviously doesn’t want America to survive in the long run. He has “fundamentally transformed” the U.S.A.
Chuck Norris can beat up Steven Seagal with both hands tied behind his back.
and providing us with that wonderful smirky laugh we use here regarding obama
Aikido is tough. I am pretty good at throwing people to the mat and small joint manipulation. I quit Aikido at 64 years of age...tough to get up off the mat. I am 66 and teach Tae Kwon Do. Thank goodness for ibuprofin
My Aikido instructor is from Philippines. He studied at the academy in Japan with the son, #1 advocate of Morehei Ushiba. Jose Soriano trained with Segal.
Amen to that. I’m also 66, and use Bayer 325mg.
For what it’s worth, I’ve had chronic pain for over 25 years. I have used ibuprofen. However, lately, I’ve learned that it DOES increase risk of liver damage, so I’ve searched for something else that might help. I didn’t have any real hope that there actually was anything, but I’m VERY pleased to report that there actually is:
Curcumin
Here are links to two products I’ve been using. I have not been using ibuprofen for a couple of weeks now. I really encourage you to research it for yourselves and see if you think it may be helpful for your circumstances.

I also have chronic pain, will be 63 next month.
This curcumin or Turmeric is really helping you with pain?
Any thoughts on just using straight Turmeric instead of buying bottle of capsules and spending more $.
Yes, I’m very amazed that it actually does seem to work in my own body. However, everyone is different.
Yes, I have read somewhere you can use turmeric, as from your spice shelf. The caveat there, I understand, is that in order to potentiate it, you need to use a tablespoon or two of a good quality oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, krill oil.... etc. because the turmeric has an oil based absorbing process. I understand that the Curamin and the Natures way products I mentioned in my previous post, are more refined and actually have the turmeric oil incorporated in it.
Turmeric can also be found available already placed in gel caps on your supplement aisle. I just want to point my fellow pain sufferers to a remedy that actually seems to work in at least some cases. I would encourage you to go to your local health food store(s) and see what information you might find there.
I did a quick google and found this from the Arthritis Foundation. Apparently it actually is helpful for that kind of pain. It has specifics on how the pain cancelling connections work. They also caution that it may act as a blood thinner, so you would need to consult your doctor if you want to try it.
In addition, there are some other supplements which can be helpful for pain management. We saw some information from a Dr. Joshua Levitt where he mentions some other supplements that can work with turmeric. He mentions bromelain, but it should be noted that it has some blood thinning characteristics, so would need to be checked with your doc.

Your health food store proprietors may be able to help you find a good pain management supplement list so that you can avoid or at least cut down on the ibuprofen/NSAID. You might also be able to find out who a local alternative medicine practitioner in your area might be who would be especially equipped to advise you.
I do hope this helps you!
He might want to consult with the British Foreign Minister, re the IRS.
I take turmeric every day. You have inspired me to go cold turkey on the ibuprofen and maybe double my turmeric. I r4ad turmeric is excellent for staving off alzheimers.
