Hillary Clinton is in a fight for her life. The polling is tightening up, at least one key Democratic pollster is reassessing his support, and the FBI has reopened their investigation into her email server after discovering 650,000 "potentially relevant" emails on the computer of Anthony Weiner, husband of longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
On Monday, Clinton appeared to demote Abedin from a "trusted aide" to "one of my staffers" for her direct involvement in the newly-discovered batch of emails.
Amongst the treasure trove of emails released from Clinton's emails during her tenure as Secretary of State was this instruction to Abedin in November of 2009: "Just knock on the door to the bedroom if it's closed". Hillary had gotten back from a late trip and emailed Huma to come over so they could do some work. Just knock on the bedroom door if it's closed. Not "text me when you get here", but "knock on the door if it's closed".
And now that Huma Abedin, who can walk into Hillary's bedroom at night, who shares an ice cream with her, who was referred to by The New York Times as a trusted aide, is now a "staffer".
You wanna get into politics? Go right ahead. But it can be a cold, cold place. Colder than the ice cream, that's for sure.

Huma Abedin, the estranged wife of disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner, has been working closely by Hillary Clinton’s side since her time as an intern at age 19. She’s now 40-years-old.
When news broke on Friday the FBI was reopening its investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Abedin immediately left the campaign trail with the most crucial of days of the 2016 presidential campaign ahead. She reportedly told friends she doesn’t know how her emails ended up on her husband’s computer, which were found by FBI agents investigating Weiner for alleged sexting of an underage girl. Her attorney Karen Dunn says she is willing to cooperate with the investigation.

In short, just about everyone tied to Hillary Clinton is the subject of a serious investigation. Not all of them were are the beneficiaries of those curious preemptive immunity deals tossed around by FBI leadership, to the consternation of some agents.

It has been suggested that Huma is a Saudi spy. I think Wiener’s PC was how Huma transferred data to the Saudis.
